Ooh I recently saw this prompt and wondered if you could possible write a Connor x Reader about it? Either way, I absolutely love your writing! 90: “ Catch me if you can! ”

A/N: I don’t know if this was the idea you had of the one shot lul, but anyway I hope you like it, because I really enjoyed writing this. I think it was shorter than I had planned, sorry for that. Thank you very much for sending me this request! Don’t hesitate to send me another one if you have another prompt or an idea ❤

For the love of God, can you behave?” Hank growled with his jaw clenched, seeing that right behind him, you and Connor walked and released small silent laughter as you spoke secretly, obviously to make Hank angry.

“Sorry, Lieutenant. It’s just that I and (Y/N) had a conversation about—

—I don’t give a damn about what your ‘conversations’ are about, I just ask you to behave. We are in the middle of a fuckin’ crime scene.” Hank sharply interrupted the android, speaking in his always so cold tone of voice.

You rolled your eyes with a mocking smile on your lips, while making a funny grimace towards Hank, showing your tongue. Connor gave a silly giggle, which he tried to silence when the old lieutenant again growled through clenched teeth. You interlaced your right arm with the left of the android when the three of you stopped in front of the house where the murder had happened and Hank was talking to one of the officers in charge, who obviously turned out to be Chris Miller. He was one of the youngest police officers in the Detroit City Police Department. “Good evening, Hank.”

“It’s not good evening at all, Chris.” Hank waved mockingly, but under a serious expression. “Are there tracks from the deviant?”

You paid attention to Hank’s conversation with the officer, gently supporting your body on his side against Connor, who smiled unconsciously as he felt your heat transfer to his cold body.

“So far, we have not found anything. Everything tells us that the android escaped after committing the homicide.” Chris explained, turning his dark eyes to you and Connor from time to time and then to Hank, who nodded a couple of times when the officer finished speaking. “Well, the crime is all yours, Lieutenant.”

“How lucky I feel about that.” Hank rolled his eyes as I spoke sarcastically.

You walked behind Hank, with Connor at your side, still with your arms entwined. Always the proximity of Connor made you feel safe, you knew that being with him nothing would happen to you. Plus you knew perfectly how to take care of yourself too.

[…]

“I faithfully believe that I would be a Gryffindor.” Connor muttered almost silently as he walked around the victim’s room, searching for clues and analyzing the place. You were crouched looking at some scratches that were right in the doorway of the room, next to a revolver on the floor. One of the many evidences that were involved in the crime.

“Nope.” You remarked the p with your lips. “You’re definitely a Hufflepuff.”

You smiled when you noticed Connor turning to look at you, with a confused expression reflecting on his face. Of course, Connor really would’t like to be a Hufflepuff. “I’m not.”

“Yes you are.” You sang in a melodious voice. The mockery dancing in your tone of voice. “I’m a Gryffindor and you’re a Hufflepuff, the other day we decided it! Don’t you remember, Con?” You turned and raised your head to be able to look at the android, who was still staring at you, but now with his eyes half closed.

You were clearly mocking him. As you always did.

“I remember perfectly that you said you’re a Hufflepuff and I said I was a Gryffindor.” Clarified Connor, slowly approaching you. You rose up and pulled your tongue towards him. He raised his eyebrows, still with his eyes half closed. “You’re making fun of me. Oh, you’ll regret this, (Y/N).”

“Try me, robotboy.” You mumbled, also squinting your eyes. “Catch me if you can!

Hurriedly you left the room, letting out a silly laugh that obviously managed to be heard throughout the house.

Hank shook his head and rolled his eyes when he saw you running out of one of the rooms to the front door and out of the house, with Connor running after you, almost touching your heels. You two laughing as if you were ten years old.

“I can’t believe I’m apparently working with damn kids.” He growled to himself, but as he heard once more your laughter, a tiny smile rose on his lips.
