Prompto:
This boy is no stranger to being insecure and obsessing over your own body. Even now that he’s happier with it he gets self-conscious sometimes. So it breaks his heart that you feel like that too and he does everything in his power to change that. He drops little casual compliments (”Y/N! Lookin’ good today, gurl!”), he will take lots of photos of you and just do what he can. If you’re still insecure, he’ll seriously talk to you. You tell him about Aranea and Luna and Cindy and all these pretty girls and you see the sadness in his eyes. He tells you that he wishes his camera captured how he sees you, because then you’d never feel insecure ever again.
Noctis:
He just doesn’t believe it at first, you feel insecure? You? He swears you’re the most beautiful person he’s ever met. At first you joke saying “and that’s a lot because you’ve seen yourself in the mirror, Noct” and he thinks you’re over it. He doesn’t realize you were just trying to brush it off. Things get worse and he notices you growing more upset, he knows it’s still about that. So one day he takes your hands and speaks to you in all seriousness (”Y/N, you don’t have to feel insecure, for me you’re perfect just the way you are”) and he will hug you tight to remind you how much he loves you and your body, taking that issue more seriously from then on by complimenting you to make you feel better.
Ignis:
He knew, Ignis noticed like he always does. He caught on every little hint, like how often you changed your cothes because you thought nothing suited you, how you kept staring at your reflection in the mirror, how you put make up on when you rarely did. And one day he sat you down and addressed the issue without you telling him anything at all. (”Darling, I can see you are feeling quite self-conscious lately. But I assure you, if I was given the opportunity, I would never even consider changing the slightest thing about your physique, and you shouldn’t either because you are unique”) and his words are so comforting!
Gladio:
He’s so mad! When you tell him he’s just at lost for words, it’s the first time you’ve seen him mumble. (”How…? Why…?”) until he recovers and ‘lectures’ you, saying every single thing he loves about you and how if somebody made you feel like that he’s gonna punch some jerks. He basically monologues for a while until he thinks he’s spoken his mind completely (”First of all, babe, I’m not with you because of your appearance. I’m with you because you are kind, caring and soft, because you understand me and because I love you. Secondly, you’re super hot anyway and I’ll show it to you”) and he does, Gladio is super affectionate and playful (and cheeky) by hugging you and touching you and caressing you until you feel better.
Nyx:
He had his suspicions, but he’s still outraged when you tell him. Nyx just refuses to believe that someone that is so special in his eyes sees themselves like that (”What?! Y/N, you are gorgeous! And not only because you are, objectively, but because your inner beauty makes you beautiful on the outside too! I just… No, I won’t stop until you see how great you are”) and then he’s even more thoughtful than usual. He takes you on romantic dates, bathes you in kisses and just tries to let you see that he wouldn’t do all that for anyone, but you’re special.
Cor:
He hates to see you so conflicted about it. You’re insecure about your appearance, but you feel shallow because that’s superficial, and you know it’s silly to feel like that, especially when you tell Cor. You think he won’t entirely understand, but he does. And he might not look it, but he’s affected by this insecurity of yours. So one day he surprises you with the cutest date. Just staying in, having a fun day and helping you feel cute, braiding your hair, painting your nails and holding you tight so you know how he trully feels about you.
