Head canons, pretty please, for our chocobois getting asked to be slept with but really, it’s just sleeping because taking naps together is fun and cute but as you can see, bringing it up is super awkward but mostly just hilarious tbh.

Noctis is very sweet, he doesn’t even think about sex at first. He’s down for a nap, and he’s assuming that’s what you mean. It’s not until a little later that he realizes “Can I sleep with you,” can be taken in a sexual way.

Ignis asks you for clarification. He’s down to fuck, but he’s also prepared to take a nap if that’s what you mean. Noctis always asks to sleep with him, so he’s a little used to the awkward phrasing of the question.

Gladio gets a little flustered. He’s been around the block a few times, but nobody’s ever been so bold as to ask “Will you sleep with me?” When he sees you settling under the blankets and preparing to knock out he calms down, but he still laughs to himself about it.

Prompto freezes and blinks up at you in a way that makes you realize “Oh shit, there’s a better way to phrase that.” You end up trying not to laugh while you explain what you actually mean.
