Gladiolus Amicitia: Romantic Relationship Headcanons

blind-bae:

Dear reader,

I can finally present to you the final of the Chocobro’s romantic headcanons. I hope I wasn’t too harsh on dear Gladio, as some of you well know he is my least favorite bro. Though, please note that it isn’t the last of Romantic Relationship headcanons. I will be going to touch on a bunch of minor characters both male and female. Cor (which will be dedicated to my bestest buddy and support system Moosh <3) and Nyx (which you all voted for are up next ❤ General headcanons will also be thrown back on the to-do list eventually. Anyway, I dedicate these Gladio headcanons to @chocobruh-art because she’s pretty cool and just recently went through some tough stuff irl that is rather hard to deal with. I hope you enjoy, Cou! Thank you for briefly dragging me into Gladio hell LOL. THOUGH MY VISIT WAS BRIEF, IT WAS ENJOYABLE LOL.

~Jules

Crushes

Does Gladio really gain “crushes” on people per say? If that, indeed, is the correct word for Gladio, crushes don’t often really last too long. Gladiolus has always been upfront and frank with his feelings towards people, rather they are negative or positive.  If he has a romantic and/or sexual desire for someone it won’t take long for Gladio to let that person know. Whether it be someone he’s only just met or someone he’s known for quite some time… he’ll lay on the flirting like no tomorrow.

He does not shy away from feelings, even though he knows full well of the possible risky consequences of the King’s Shield taking on a romantic relationship (which I will explain in detail later). Though he tries not to become too attached to some of the relationships and attractions he happens to come across. He is often called the “biggest lady killer in Insomnia.”
