i didn’t think the day would come where i’d have to make a post like this, but given the circumstances, i can’t sit idly on it. a couple of weeks ago, my dear friend @viles-arts had come out to her family as being trans. she had thought they were supportive of her but this is apparently not the case, as they had attempted to put her through conversion therapy and now she’s being monitored non-stop, barely being able to even use so much as her phone.
she needs to get out like ASAP, and i wish i could do more, but raising awareness is just about all that i can do. if anybody is in Georgia, is there anyone out there with a spare room, or just otherwise could afford to provide shelter for her? if so, send me the details via PM and i’ll relay it when possible.
i really wish there was more i could do to help, but spreading the word is about all i can do, being as far away as i am. if you don’t have a means to help directly, reblogs to spread awareness would be just as vital in helping my friend out of these dire straits.

In my experience, people named after Greek goddesses are some of the most ethereal, chaotic forces I have ever encountered.
Our Art Department’s nude model, for example, is a woman named Hera. She’s stunningly beautiful, rides a motorcycle as apparently her only vehicle, grows all her own food, and keeps bees, turtles, and a dog named Argus, who she walks around town with a peacock feather attached to his leash.
I am thoroughly convinced she is not of this realm.

She feels a stare but remains unalarmed. This is not the the frightening, cold, hard-pressed stare of her uncle, scrutinizing her in her ‘sleep’, attempting to find betrayal where there is none. The gentle breeze drifting in through the thin curtains around her bed let her know that this is a friend. Perhaps she should be alarmed – after all, her windows had been securely closed, courtesy of her uncle’s wishes. But the scent of leather, earth, and oil relax any trepeditions she may have had, her traitorous heart beating a second faster in realization. Her senses flood her as a leather clad hand gently but firmly presses over her mouth, silencing any potential screams of alarm.
Slowly, she opens her eyes, sight adjusting to the darkness. Her King looks a sight – his broad frame illuminated by the glow of moonlight coming in through her windows. When she catches sight of dark brown eyes, her hands finally move over his, gently patting the back of it as he removes it from her mouth.
“My apologies for disturbing your rest, m’lady.”
Despite the beating in her chest, she frowns, moving to sit up, not bothering to cover herself in the process. There are so many things she could ask – she should ask, but all that comes out is, “I thought I told you not to call me that.”
He grins. “Even ruffians need to show proper manners, yes?”
Sombra shakes her head. “McCree, what are you doing here?” Their whispers are like a ghost but carry the weight of urgency. “I told you- I thought we agreed that this was for the best.”
This will eventually go into the pile of art I need to make into prints, but I’m gonna wait a long while for this one, as to not overlap the release of the zine. IT’S AMAZING BTW and I hope everyone that wanted it managed to get a preorder in!
The mods of this zine were absolutely on point at all times and it was so easy working with/for them. If you’re looking to get into this scene, I hugely massively majorly recommend contributing to one of their releases! I applied for their Roadhog and Team Fortress 2 zines and I hope I get to join them again! 😀
Also Mass Effect follow up: I really need to commission someone to draw McCree and Sombra wearing Thane and Kasumi’s armor. they’re not together in the ME universe but they are good parallels for Jesse and Olivia.

Those words coming from their old and bedridden father would give his children more tears in their eyes then they already need, but Noé, Ana and Magdala know he means every word. And they’re not going to give anything less to this world then McCree knows they can give.
McCree does, but not in the ‘oh I can’t technically call you my wife’ its more like ‘we’ve been together for so long and wear each other’s rings and have beautiful babies so really we are married just the government doesn’t recognize it’.
Sombra and McCree do refer to each other as husband/wife. The first few times Sombra heard McCree refer to her as his wife was really intimate to her, but she didn’t show it until after they were alone. She doesn’t have a lot of titles, but this one is good to her.

McCree, whispering to his kids about watching him jump start their mother, but before he can take another step, Sombra’s throwing arm never fails to let McCree know that he should not do that.

The Amicitias are totally the type of family to just kind of “adopt” folks as unofficial family members. It started with Jared and Talcott, then “Uncle” Cor, and somehow expanded to include like a quarter of the Crownsguard and half the Glaives. There’s always a rotating group of adopted family coming around for dinner, and the manor is completely packed for birthdays and holidays.
Gladio seems like a total gym rat but in reality he’d probably be the guy who’d scold other guys for dropping their weights and trying to intimidate others. He’s the type to spot anyone, help people with their reps, chat with the older ladies, and just be generally really sweet and encouraging to everyone.
This can be implied romantic, but also platonic! I just love Chocobro friendships.
Noctis Lucis Caelum:
If you watched Brotherhood, you’d know right away that Noctis is a pretty horrible roommate.
He’s messy, lazy, and not organized in any way.
However, Ignis does drop by pretty regularly and cleans up after Noctis before you can murder the prince in his sleep for never doing his side of the chores.
It’s mostly his side of the apartment that’s trashed anyway. He’ll do it reluctantly, but he always makes sure that none of his mess gets over to your room, or your side of the couch, etc.
Other than the fact that he’s a slob, Noctis is extremely chill and kind.
On the other hand, if you happen to be that roommate with some not-so-great living habits, Noctis will rarely get angry or yell at you for it.
He’s pretty quiet most of the time, will give you alone time if you need it, and he’ll never take your things without asking. He’s slow to do chores, but if you get aggressive enough he’ll run off to do it.
Prompto, Ignis, and Gladio come over often enough for you to be this close to asking them pay rent too.
If you’re running low on money for the month and you’re having issues paying rent, he’ll just say, “Oh, it’s cool, I’ll just pay for the both of us.”
He refuses to take your money when you try to pay him back. But he does take payment in the form of your arcade credits from time to time.
The only awkward thing is that the King, Regis, comes over unannounced sometimes and you’re just standing in front of him in your pajamas about 99% of the time.
The type of roommate that doesn’t know how to take care of themselves and makes you think: dude how did you manage to live twenty years.
Ignis must be really fighting natural selection.
Prompto Argentum:
The type of roommate that really wants to be your friend. If you guys didn’t know each other prior to becoming roommates, he’ll make an effort to talk to you or hang out with you.
Whenever his friends are over, he definitely makes sure that they’ll say hi to you so you don’t feel left out.
He’s a pretty good roommate. Since he lived alone for the most part for a majority of his life, he’s pretty good at maintenance, cleaning, and cooking.
Not the greatest cook, but gets the job done.
He does get a bit chatty and clingy sometimes, so it’s a bit awkward if you’re a quiet person. But he’ll grow on you.
He won’t exactly get angry at you if you have bad habits, but he will sit you down and talk to you to solve the problem.
Noctis comes over often enough for you to think that him and Prompto are dating.
He’s a budding photographer and sometimes you just find random pictures of you doing mundane things.
Sometimes it’s not even pictures of you; you would find random developed pictures of like combs, hairspray, and bathroom cleaner all around your shared place.
Would bring home strays that he found on the street.
He always has music on, and is a shower singer.
He buys random chocobo themed knickknacks and memorabilia and decorates the apartment with it until the place is about two-thirds yellow.
Marathons The Office, Parks and Rec, and Disney more often than not.
Gladiolus Amicitia:
The athletic roomie.
He’s gone early in the morning and late at night to go get a jog in or hit the gym.
He’s also not home very often due to his job and other duties as Shield, but even when he is home you barely notice.
He’s quiet for the most part, and would spend his free time reading, so you barely know that he’s there.
He’s not too tidy, and not too neat. He is a bachelor.
Sometimes he leaves his training gear and weapons all around the apartment, so if you don’t see them, they’re an absolute bitch when you run your pinky toe against them.
Calls cup noodles a home cooked meal, and you’re worried that he’s going to die from all those artificial noodles one day.
If it’s raining, or if it’s too much trouble to go outside and hit the gym, he’ll just go to you for help.
“Hey, are you doing anything right now?” “No, not really. Why?” “Can you sit on my back when I do pushups?”
You end up doing it anyway and just continue your task while on his back.
Iris comes over to visit often and is pretty cool to hang out with. She asks you for embarrassing stories that you have of Gladio and she’ll give you the same.
He does all the heavy-lifting in your apartment, so he’s the one helping you redecorate and helped you move in.
When it’s spring, it’s allergy season for Gladio, and while you know that he can’t control it he’s practically sneezing ever other second. You either have allergy medication on hand, tissues, or headphones.
If he’s angry at you, you’ll know right away because he’s either passive-aggressive or aggressive-aggressive.
Ignis Scientia:
The neat freak, the gourmet, the mom friend, the valedictorian. He’s all of these roommate stereotypes.
He’s used to taking care of other people, so sometime’s he’ll just clean up your messes, cook for you, etc. Which is both good and bad, since it can get very pushy and overbearing sometimes.
If you’re messy or have bad habits, Ignis won’t confront you about it and would just clean it up himself.
The two of you wouldn’t really talk at first, since you both have conflicting schedules, and he treats it as just the situation you two live in, and not an obligation to become friends, but it’s hard not to warm up to someone like him.
Once you do become friends though, he’s someone you talk to often when you have issues, and he’ll rant about Noctis.
You think he’s a pretty chill guy and keeps out of people’s business, but he is like a gossiping mom.
Knows all of the dirt about the neighbors in your apartment complex.
You can’t talk to him or look him in the eye unless he has had his first cup of coffee.
He just has so many tasks to do: taking care of Noctis, working at the Citadel, being Royal Adviser, you’re half like: This is the most perfect man alive, and half: He’s going to drop dead from overexertion one day.
You try your best to keep out of his way so that he doesn’t have more to worry about, and keep the apartment tidy.
He is such a mom friend, and you know he’s had a good day when he knocks on your door and just checks up on you if you’re alright, or to ask about your day.
If you’re visibly stressed, or struggling to pay rent, he’ll give you solid advice, and while he won’t actively do your work for you, he’s so supportive that it feels like it.
When he cooks or bakes for Noctis, he’ll make sure to bake another serving for you too.

I think it’s called sensory overload. It’s really common in people with anxiety
it can also be a result of sleep deprivation, stress, or ever dehydration !!
I’m not usually a trophy hunter (especially since between working full-time and art stuff gives me like ZERO time to do that hahaha), but I’ll usually go for a plat if I like the game enough and I think I can actually pull it off!
There are really helpful guides online that you can use for tips and walkthroughs! Some of them even lay out how to get the platinum trophy in as few playthroughs as possible. I’ve included links to some of them!

I didn’t find any of the main trophies too difficult to get tbh. Some of the DLC trophies were a little annoying, like the Score Challenge in Episode Gladio and the Time Challenge Snowmobile stuff in Episode Prompto
Back in MY day, you had to do EVERY. SINGLE. GUMMI SHIP MISSION. To get the plat trophy for PS3. Also, difficulty trophies DID NOT STACK. Thank God they changed it for PS4
Synthesis-related trophies weren’t actually as difficult to get as I was expecting. I was level-grinding and item-grinding at the same time. Two birds, one stone. The Sniperwilds and mushrooms were annoying though -__-

The moment right before McCree reaches for her, he grins like the devil as Sombra tries to get away. But to no avail, he’s calling out her lie with solid action. The famous McRaspberries follow. He’s has a tight grip around her waist as Sombra spasms out but she’s laughing too hard to really fight back.
After, when she’s glaring at him and fixing her shirt, McCree is still grinning madly and asking about her statement from earlier.
I can only see that with McSombra but even then, it would have to be a desire situation. Mabye if McCree or Sombra were terribly injured but refusing to stay down and rest, the other would slip them something. It would cost a little trust though, and time to rebuild it.
McCree: For heaven’s sake, Sombra! Stop moving, you’re bleeding everywhere.
Sombra: We have to *cough* keep moving.
Sombra: *eyes suddenly droop*
Sombra: *looks at the bottle before looking back at him*
Sombra: You sonuva…
Sombra: *passes out into his arms*
McCree: *picks her up bridal style*
