So I don’t know if you’re familiar with the Mass Effect Trilogy (highly recommend). But there’s a terminally ill character named Thane Krios who is a reformed vigilante. and he has a scene where he tells his estranged son “I’ve taken so many bad things out of this galaxy, but you were the only good thing I ever added to it…” AAAAAnd now I’m bawling because I’m Imagining McCree on his deathbed saying that to Noe and the Twins.

Also Mass Effect follow up: I really need to commission someone to draw McCree and Sombra wearing Thane and Kasumi’s armor. they’re not together in the ME universe but they are good parallels for Jesse and Olivia.
