I had a very vivid dream about me accidentally summoning a spirit that looked like an Inugami from Persona, except he didn’t have a tail so I pinned a hot-topic rainbow tail onto him and it turned into a real one
My doggo, Ezri, who rarely barks and mostly borks.
When I got her, she’d been abused and would cower and pee at almost everything, and had been mistreated when she’d barked, so she never would. One day months after I had her she got excited on a walk and borked at a bird, and then immediately cower-peed. I had to re-teach her to bark by gathering her whole human pack and having everyone bark and howl and feed her treats and pet her till she got excited enough to join in, and then got more treats. Took a while but I was able to teach her to bork on command (and she’s gotta be excited or she just stares at me like “Sorry, the bork system needs charging”) and she’ll do it happily when she’s excited to go for a walk or upon seeing a friend, and at birds. I love her croaky borking, especially when she started off terrified of making a joyful noise.
What kind of dog is Ezri? I love her!!
I… did not expect this post to blow up this much but I am delighted at all the tags and replies and Ezri has been told the internet thinks she’s a Very Good Dog. 😀
She’s a German spitz – in the same family as keeshonds and pomeranians. She might be crossed with something else as her freckled coat, non-pointy nose, and personality are not standard for her breed (they’re usually a lot more high energy and excitable – she’s super laid back and chill). She’s a bit less fluffy than breed-standard too, mostly because she’s grown out from her spring/summer trim (not usually necessary/good for her type of coat but she gets terribly itchy otherwise). It also makes her look like a puppy of a large breed:
Ezri’s best friend is Murder Cat, who is a gentle friend to humans and Ezri, but does things to mice that would make Hannibal Lecter go “Isn’t that a bit much?”
I got Murder Cat as a kitten, and she used to try to nurse on everything when she was small. Eventually, she settled on her favourite thing to nurse on, Ezri, who has never had puppies and a little confused at first but eventually went with it. She grew out of it, but they have stayed snuggly buddies ever since.
New Years here is full of fireworks outside and Ezri gets Vry Scared. I usually set her up somewhere with a snuggly spot right by me, and Murder Cat comes and does this all night:
She goes everywhere with me in my bakfiets (cargo bike) and lets me warm my hands in her fur on cold days.
And her ears disappear if I say her name to get her attention.
ok so great thanks for coming to my TED talk about my dog, good night, drive safe

I jumped over a couple of days ‘cause I could not come up with anything :V Maybe I’ll think of something later, we’ll see .w. (and yes, Ana isn’t wearing her eyepatch because I had this thought that she might be comfortable around Rein not use it .3.)
Sombra craves ginger ale and red meat during her pregnancy. Morning sickness ends up not causing her to throw up as much as she thought it would, but she still gets nauseated well into her second trimester. Ginger ale helps her get through the worst of it. McCree and her also end up grilling a whole lot of burgers and sirloin steaks.
McCree doesn’t stay with her all the time in Castillo as Overwatch will call him back when they really need him. He’s never gone for long though, and Sombra finds way to be useful with her hacking on those missions.
It’s a terrible thing for Sombra to not be out and about digging into her usual blackmail, mysteries and secrets but she makes do with the few times she helps Overwatch. When she complains about doing nothing McCree will laugh and reassure her that she’s doing plenty with that baby kicking.
When Sombra first starts showing a big bump McCree finds any excuse to touch her belly. She usually naps during the afternoon. He takes the time to quietly stare at his love and her baby bump, trying to figure out how he got this.
Sombra will wake up in the middle of the night, and slip away from their bed to work on her many computer screens. McCree doesn’t know how many contingency plans she has set up for him and the baby in case anything happens to her in the future. She hopes he never has to.
They both agree on Ana for a girl and Noé if they end up with a boy.

Well, it’s still Halloween on the West coast so I guess I still beat the clock somewhere >> A very small, last minute doodle for the festivities while I had time.
Bastet, Anubis, Set, and Serqet hope that everyone who celebrates enjoyed their Halloween! They’re appearing in some of their secondary animal forms (black cat, wolf, rat, and spider) just for the spoopy occasion~
Just wanted to participate in the fun #ReindeerGames design challenge started by fablepaint on twitter! Plus it was a good excuse to draw Set appearing in a different animal form than his usual. Since Set can canonly turn into a gazelle and a camel and a bunch of other similar animals, a big red caribou/reindeer would be no problem! Though idk if you wanna trust this buck pulling a sleigh…
Set, of course, is from my comic-in-development on my DEITIES Project Blog! Which will be sharing a practice comic / mock prologue tomorrow (December 15), stay tuned!
Serket is the Goddess of scorpions, snakes, medicine, magic, and healing venomous stings and bites as well as childbirth and nursing. She is also known as
Serqet, Selket, Selqet, Selkit, and Selkis. Serket is generally known as a protection Goddess. She is said to have control of venomous spiders, scorpions, and snakes. Although she protects people from venomous bites she also sends poisonous creatures after people she disproves of. According to legend Serket provided protection to Isis and her son Horus from Set. She is associated with the wet cardinal point. Her symbol is a scorpion. Call on her if you need help healing a bite or sting (make sure to get proper medical care first!) or if you need family protection.
A forthcoming Japanese mobile dating game will allow that. The game entitled
Egykoi! Egypt Kami to Koishi yo~ (Egy-love! Egyptian Gods and Love) lets the the players take control of a young heroine whose love is competed for by Horus, Anubis, and a lesser known Egyptian god named Medjed who is popular in Japanese pop culture and memes.

Khonsu was a god of the moon and time. His cult center was at Thebes where he was part of a triad with Amun and Mut. He was one of the companions of Thoth. It was thought that he could influence the fertility of both the people and their livestock and one myth gives him a prominent role in the creation of the universe. He was also revered as a god of healing, as is recorded in the story of the “Princess of Bekheten”. It was said that he personally healed the pharaoh Ptolemy IV (who took the epithet “beloved of Khonsu who protects the king and drives away evil spirits” in thanks for the gods help) and he was also thought to extend his protection to the common people. As a result, many Egyptians were named after him.

One thing that’s bugged me for years is the bad rap that Anubis tends to get in popular culture. Stop passing him the Villain Ball. He ain’t that bad/scary. …Well, and neither is my depiction of Ammut. 9_9 What a pair.

So I haven’t seen anything on this subject in quite some time, but I am subscribed to FreePress’ email newsletter where they keep people updated.
Guys, the battle for the net isn’t over yet, just because you don’t see any more posts on it. This text is copy-pasted from the update email I received.
The Net Neutrality repeal is about to become official. The FCC is expected to publish its Net Neutrality rollback in the Federal Register tomorrow, which means that Congress will be able to examine the rules and move forward with a vote to reverse them. This also means that we have a limited amount of time to get all of our elected officials on board to save the open internet — but we have a plan to get there.
Millions of people have spoken out against the FCC’s Net Neutrality repeal because they recognize how important the open internet is for racial justice, free expression, innovation and economic opportunity. The momentum we’ve seen has been grassroots and creative, and gives us hope for the future.
Here’s a recap of what’s happened since the FCC’s vote:
• Legislation that would enforce Net Neutrality has popped up all over the country. • We filed one of the very first lawsuits to overturn the FCC’s Net Neutrality-killing vote and at least 22 state attorneys general are also suing the FCC. • Burger King (yes, that Burger King!) created an ad explaining Net Neutrality. • Team Internet activists have been showing up outside their members of Congress’ offices all over the country to tell them to use the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to undo the FCC’s Net Neutrality repeal. • The pressure people are putting on Congress is working: Members have been signing on to support the CRA effort to save the open internet left and right. We’re just 1 vote away from winning a CRA vote in the Senate — but we have our work cut out for us in the House. • Along with our allies at #BattlefortheNet, we’re gearing up for another internet-wide day of action to save the open internet…
On Feb. 27, we’ll launch Operation #OneMoreVote, a massive day of action to secure the final Senate vote needed to undo the FCC’s Net Neutrality repeal. Will you join us?
On this day, internet users, small businesses, online communities, public-interest groups and popular websites will mobilize to flood lawmakers with calls, emails and tweets. Our goal: to secure the final vote in the Senate needed to pass a resolution of disapproval that would overturn the FCC’s Net Neutrality repeal. We need your help to make this happen: RSVP to join us online on Feb. 27.
There are a ton of ways you can take part in Operation #OneMoreVote, ranging from changing your profile photo, to tweeting and calling your members of Congress and spreading the word. Everything helps.
this is the only important thing that happened at sdcc
