The world sped by Prompto so fast he was surprised that he could actually see straight.
The goggles certainly helped with that, but it was doing little to quell the rapid pounding in his heart as he shot out a wrist to the next building, snagging the side with the web as he propelled himself forward.
He could not believe this was actually happening.
He’d known Noct was always a target of choice considering his dad’s wealth, but for this to actually happen because of that was something that was nightmare fuel – and currently Prompto wished that he could just smack right into one of the buildings he was jumping across and wake up from it.
But no. This was real. Terrifyingly real.
Noct had been kidnapped and was being held ransom by a group of thugs that had thought this would be a quick way to earn some cash.
Boy, were they in for a surprise.
Well – at least Prompto hoped so.
He just prayed that his training with Gladio was going to pay off, because the last time he’d taken on a group of that amount of men…well…
Yeah that didn’t end well, and he could not afford to let that happen again. Not when Noct’s life was on the line.
