• Connor goes to Hank for help at first, he’s relatively new to dating and does become uncertain about whether or not he’s being a good boyfriend, the lieutenant and detective phoning you to reassure the RK800 android that he was doing more than enough.
• “I love you for you Connor, you’re perfect the way you are now.”
His LED brightens at that, a smile on his face whilst you laughed at the other end of the call, hearing Hank mutter ‘you two fucking lovebirds’ in the background.
• The first date was at Greek District, the two of you shopping for clothes for Connor in order to expand his limited wardrobe – having him wear a dress shirt and jeans with a sweater on top – the new smart casual look making your face feel hot.
• Connor doesn’t hold any of the shopping bags, you do, insisting that you can handle carrying them (though you don’t hesitate to give anyone the middle finger the moment you hear them talk about Connor not doing ‘his job’ behind your back).
• He loves feelings your lips on his, the way you always seem to be breathless from kissing him making his LED turn yellow as he kisses back, his hands intertwined with yours as he feels your body temperature increase, your heart beating faster.
• He never forgets any important dates, always remembering the date of your birthday, anniversary, even the day the two of you first met – he still has that memory and recording saved, despite being told to delete it – he can’t bring himself to.
• Connor starts taking after you more and more in his mannerisms, whether it’s the way he talks or he moves his hands, his thirium pump starting to go work faster whenever Hank points it out to him, his blue LED flickering as he smiles softly.
• He doesn’t really get jealous, but Gavin never fails to make his LED flash red the moment he makes a move on you in the precinct, eyes narrowed as you make it clear that you’re not interested in the detective.
• “Why date some shitty piece of plastic when there’s someone right in front of you _____?”
“Maybe it’s because you’d never be as good as Connor is Detective Reed – in more ways than one.”
Connor’s LED settled back into blue, Hank laughing in the background as you moved to the android’s side – your hands intertwined with his as Gavin swore at you.
• There was one time he was rendered speechless at an outfit you wore for a party, the smile on his face making you laugh as you told him to ‘take a picture, it’ll last longer’ teasingly – hearing the sound of a camera shutter moments later.
• “Thank you _____.”
“For what Connor?”
“For making me feel alive.”
He whispers that to you, a hand resting on your cheek as his LED flickers yellow – a new side of him being shown that night as he presses his lips to yours.
