“Are you ready?” his earthy voice grumbled out.
“I just need my sandals,” you called out.
Searching around, you eyed the black and white sandals sitting idly by the hotel’s bed, hiding but just barely poking out from the bottom of the silken bedskirt. You carefully slipped them onto your feet before snatching up the colorful array of beach towels you had stacked up by the bedroom door and rushed out to see Gladio standing by the opened front door. A pair of dark sunglasses hid his amber eyes away, but upon seeing you, he lowered them to the bulb of his nose and raised both eyebrows as his jaw dropped.
A whistle came from him.
“Am I looking at the same girl?” he laughed.
“Does it look bad?” you smirked as you directed your side towards your boyfriend.
A summer-y request! How would gladio and noct react to the s/o just verbally slaying someone who insults her at the pool for being big or not deserving the boys? Like, theyre about to jump in but shes just like “I’m so sorry that your life is so sad you have to insult others to feel good about yourself” confident s/o, but could they reassure her afterward. (1000 bonus points for pool shenanigans too! I really wanna get thrown or carried around by gladdy at the pool ha 😻)
