Okay, so like I’ve always imagined that McCree and Sombra are part of Captain Reaper’ crew. Here’s my idea for the crew and their positions:
Captain: Gabriel “Reaper” Reyes Quartermaster: Jesse McCree Navigator: Sombra Master Gunner: Jamison “Junkrat” Fawkes Cook: Mako “Roadhog” Rutledge Surgeon: (against her will) Angela “Mercy” Ziegler Boatswain: Genji Shimada Carpenter: Satya “Symmetra” Vaswani (was taken from a Vishkar ship as a prisoner, quickly took on the role when she deemed Reyes’ ship ‘lacking’). It was her charm, sense of humor, and quick wits that drew Quartermaster McCree’s attention to the Navigator. They both take their duties seriously but they can’t help the occasional exchange of flirtations. Even though she’s usually stationed at the helm, some nights find her in the crow’s nest. McCree will watch her until she finally invites him up. The two spend time at the top, over looking the endless black of the ocean’s waves and the infinite sea of stars above, conversations and hand holding secret to the rest of the crew below.
Meanwhile, when Reaper can’t find his Quartermaster and then finds a confused crew member manning the wheel instead of Sombra, he’s just like:
