I’ve been waiting until I had enough time to draw a response to this question! It enters my personal head cannon territory, which means its probably not something that will ever be addressed by the videos haha. Lance became somewhat of a father figure to Arthur at a young age, after his parents went through a divorce. He developed a passion for mechanical engineering and, as soon as he was old enough, left to stay with Uncle. Never looked back.
