How would the bros, the girls, and maybe Crowe react to a S/O who suffers from depression and extreme loneliness? Ty I love your blog :0

Noctis

  • He’s also severely depressed, and when his friends and his dad are busy he feels so lonely he might explode. It’s why he needs constant distraction
  • So he gets it, and he understands you. Which is nice, but it’s also kind of bad. You end up enabling each other and bonding over horribly morbid memes
  • But the good thing is that when he goes to therapy, he pays for you to go too. He calls it “Date Night”

Ignis

  • Noctis has the same issues as you, and Ignis has some issues of his own, so he’s sympathetic
  • He does, however, feel really bad when he finds out how lonely you are. He can’t be around much because of work, so unless you’re willing to come with him (only when you can), you’re on your own
  • Somewhere down the line, he thinks to introduce you to Prompto. You’re both miserable and lonely with a lot of free time, and he thinks it’ll be good for the both of you to be friends

Gladio

  • Literally all he can think to do is try to be around you a more often. He can’t really do much, but he can offer you his love and his company
  • His job allows him slightly more freedom than Ignis’s, so you bet your ass he’s taking you with him when you’re willing. He’s a little excited when he sees you making friends with the same people he’s friends with

Prompto

  • Again, this poor boy has a whole mess of his own issues. And he’s only friends with the boys, who are constantly busy. He understands the loneliness if nothing else
  • “We could be lonely together. Nothing brings people together like crippling mental illness!” “Prompto, please.”

Luna

  • Luna’s one of the most empathetic people in Eos, so she knows something’s up before you even officially tell her. The little things tell her; tired eyes, a lack of doing what you normally like, and how you both crave attention and don’t want to seem like a bother
  • But she doesn’t know what to do, other than stick up under you. She hopes her being clingy doesn’t start to annoy you
  • On the rare occasion she can’t be around, she leaves Pryna to look after you. Umbra and Pryna get Luna through tough times, and she’s hoping they can do the same for you

Cindy

  • She immediately feels guilty. She spends a lot of time working, so she feels like she’s not helping with your loneliness
  • Cindy’s also really transparent. You know she knows something’s wrong because she keeps calling you Sugar
  • “Can you come help me out with this, Sugar?” “We should leave early and grab some dinner, huh Sugar?” “What’s my Sugar up to?”

Crowe

  • “You should come with me to group therapy one of these days, I think you would like it.”
  • She really does take you one day. Nyx and Libertus are there, too, and those three are rowdy enough for you to not have to talk. You get to just sit back and watch, but it’s still better than if you’d have done nothing

Aranea

  • Aranea’s a fan of tough love, but she doesn’t think that it would really work here. She has no idea what to do
  • She settles for trying to make somewhat positive jokes when she’s with you
  • “You’re depressed because otherwise you would have bested Bahamut in hand to hand combat by now. You would be too strong.” “Thank you Aranea, I love you.”
