Hello there, all you lovely people! Because I’ve gotten a few indications of interest from one of my posts about a Mcsombra gift exchange, particularly a Valentine’s Day exchange (or at least around that time frame), and after chatting with a few folk, I decided to see if this was something that people would want to participate in?
I was thinking of something very casual and laid back, just for fun and to create more content among Mcsombra lovers already out there! I want everyone’s medium to be accepted: traditional and digital art, crafting, writing, head canons, graphic making, video editing, SFM creators, even cosplay…anything you can contribute would be amazing and welcome!
Time wise, I considered January 25 to March 1, with February 14 (Valentine’s Day) being the day you can start submitting gifts. Gifts also would NOT have to be Valentine’s Day oriented but it’s more than welcome!
I mostly just thought of this idea at first for fun but if people actually wanted to participate, why not? The more Mcsombra, the merrier! Even if only five people end up participating, that’s still five people who want to see more Mcsombra goodness in the world! 😍
How it’d work:
❤️️ Send me a message through tumblr’s IM indicating your interest in participating. ❤️️ Give me a maximum of TEN ideas that you’d like to see from the person who’ll be making you something! That way, everyone can get a variety of ideas they can work with. Please remember that you might not get paired with an artist – you could be paired with a writer, an editor, a modler, a cosplayer… ❤️️ I’d like to keep this event SFW/PG-13 at best but if you TRULY want to, indicate whether you’re willing to do/receive NSFW gifts. You can only do so if you’re 18+ ❤️️ No submissions – whenever your gift is ready, you can submit it to your own blog and tag the person you received as well as the general #mcsombra tag so we can all see and share your work!
❤️️ YOU DON’T HAVE TO REMAIN A SECRET – As you can see, this is not a secret gift exchange…you can talk to your recipient! However, if it’s more fun for you to keep it a surprise, then you’re free to do so! ❤️️ HAVE FUN – seriously, I want this exchange to be something out of love and not stress like a more seriously organized event. We do this because we love Mcsombra ❤
I’ll be accepting IMs until January 23 – on January 24th, I will send out IMs to everyone with the name of your exchange partner and what they want to see in a gift~
