I don’t reaaally have a character limit. If I’m not given specifics I usually just answer for whichever characters I feel like at the time. Plus the more characters there are, the shorter I’ll get with my responses just for sanity’s sake.
Jack Morrison:
- He has been very busy with work lately so your birthday just happened to slip past the other duties he had scheduled.
- When he comes home to see the crestfallen look on your face, he just assumes you had a bad day or something is stressing you out, so he offers to draw a hot bath for you to help you relax. That’s when he notices the calendar.
- He is so flustered he can’t even stutter out a proper apology. He is so sorry and feels like a terrible boyfriend– how could he be so neglectful, this is a disgrace, he doesn’t deserve you.
- As soon as he’s able to, he clears a day of work so he can spend its entirety with you. He’ll take you out to dinner, take you on a walk through the city, real classy stuff out on the town. Then when you two get home, he’d treat you to a nice warm bubble bath with rose petals strewn about. As you soak, he’d give you a gentle shoulder massage and a few kisses to your cheek and neck.
Gabriel Reyes:
- Something had been nagging at the back of his mind all day. Like he needed to remember something important but it just wasn’t coming to him.
- He comes home to see you looking very disappointed and Gabe immediately knew this had something to do with that nagging thought.
- When he discovers it is your birthday, his body washes over with shame. He couldn’t believe he actually forgot your birthday. He felt like a real piece of shit.
- He’d smother you in kisses and hold you tight, whispering soft apologies. He’d promise to treat you to a special dinner, anything you want. He also makes you a little coupon you can use on him for one free favor, no questions asked.
Jesse McCree:
- He’s always struggled with special dates so it shouldn’t be a surprise that he forgot your birthday.
- He barely even notices how upset you are when he comes home. Just too invested in his own thoughts to notice. It takes you literally smacking the hat of his head for him to realize what’s going on.
- When he finds out he forgot about your birthday he is so so so so sorry. He’ll even get down on his knees and beg for forgiveness. (Actually he begs that you don’t break up with him because he thinks this qualifies for instant breakup.)
- He swears he will be at your beck and call the next day. Whatever you want, he’ll do it. Anything to get back on your good side.
Genji Shimada:
- He’s been away on a mission and he’s so tired when he comes back he’s only thinking about going to bed. 😥
- He’s such a baby, asking that you help him get settled, way too invested in his own misery to see the pout on your face.
- He wakes up the next morning with a start, suddenly remembering your birthday— which is now over and done with.
- He is devastated. He gets on his knees in front of you begging for forgiveness. He assures you he meant no harm. It was just a bad day! Otherwise, he would have devoted everything in his power into making you happy.
- He takes you on a little date to make it up to you, doing absolutely anything you ask without any hesitation.
May I request Morrison and the Blackwatch boys (sounds like a new boy band) forgetting their s/o birthday and how they would make it up to them? Sorry if that’s too many! I couldn’t find a character limit on your rules post
