i’ve been seeing a lot of positivity/motivation for mental health issues, so i want to send my other babes some nice thoughts:

  • you can get through your physiotherapy. i know it is hell, i know that sometimes it hurts, but i believe in you.
  • you are not any weaker for being dependent on medication or disability aids. if it helps you, use it.
  • surgery may seem scary af, but it can help you tons. if you’re going to have surgery, know that i am cheering you on and i hope all goes well for you.
  • don’t be afraid to tell others around you if you’re struggling. if you can’t do something one day, that’s okay. rest.
  • i know sometimes life is absolute hell and it might be hard for you to look ahead. i know. sometimes it’s hard for me to believe too, but you can get through today. and tomorrow. it gets better, it does.
  • you are amazing. you are loved.

Also find the right people willing to listen and not blame you from needing to rest or needing a break. Some will better understand than others and mental and emotional support is very necessary. Your mind carries your body.
