What was your thoughts on Khadgar’s portrayal in the Warcraft movie?

I love him.

He is different in some ways (both in his story and his attitude) but still adorable.

Physically (aestetically ?), he’s close to perfect. It fits my vision of him. Ben Schnetzer is a perfect young Khadgar. Give him blue eyes and that white streak of hair and it’ll be just him (I’m kinda disappointed they didn’t do it, actually). At least as I see him when I read “The Last Guardian”. He has that “dark untidy head of hair” and also those “fragments of a beard, newly grown” (it looks like it haha)
Many people ask me if I draw “movie!Khadgar” because, yeah, I can’t deny, when I draw him as a teenager, that’s more or less how I see him. It’s not though, it’s the books, always o3o

I think he is cute and funny and so smart, he loves books and always does his best and he’s a good artist too, he’s incredibly talented but can be awkward and jumpy… those are all traits I see in Khadgar. Sadly the movie version lacks a lot of important traits of his personality. (But the movie is short, shorter than Duncan Jones wanted it to be, so it’s understandable we don’t see all…?)

As for his story, well… it’s different. I feel more involved in the book one, but I have nothing against the movie version (I even actually wrote a few things about a “movie version of Khadgrin”, just for fun, to see how their story would be in this other reality/timeline/whatever.)
