This is actually a render I finished some time ago, but I decided to redo it with particle hair instead. It’s still a bit messy sometimes and in this case I couldn’t even use a more advanced hair shader due to some weird lighting glitch it caused on the front, but at least it looks fluffy and realistic enough.

Random musing: If Gladiolus’ s/o was having a hard time sleeping I really think he would wake up sensing their frustration despite him being a heavy sleeper. He’s just that in tune to them he just knows they are up.
A bit groggy he would help soothe them getting up to grab them a warm cup of milk or water. Not wanting them to move any to waken their body anymore than it is, as he can fall asleep at a drop of a hat.
He would pull them onto his chest as he sit propped up a little caressing their arms and back in a gentle massage. Just calmly talking to them about soothing things, like a new book he is looking forward to or that new recipe Ignis came up with earlier. Domestic talking, running his hand up through your hair.
Placing soft kisses to your face and neck as he talks sleepily.
Sometimes if it is something stressing you out and he knows what it is he’ll tell you what he thinks you should and act out the scenario with you to ease your stress and anxiety of it. Praising you as you finish the scenario and how you would do it
As soon as you fell asleep he would get you comfy by his side and he would curl up close to you and easily fall back to sleep.

When Noctis finds out you are part Coeurl, he’s angry at the
Empire for conducting experiments on you. But he can’t help but think it’s cute
that you’re part Coeurl. He’s always had a fondness for animals and discovering
this about you makes him care for you even more. Tends to carry drier sheets
around to help rid himself of the static discharge that inevitably builds up
between the two of you.
Prompto understands why you would want to keep this
information a secret. He himself is the product of Empire science. But he makes
it known that he doesn’t love you any less. If anything, he feels closer to you
now since he can understand you in a way no one else can. It also excites him
to no end that you are part Coeurl. Makes it a top priority to ensure you don’t
short out his electronics.
The one side effect Ignis could do without is the static
electricity. His hair doesn’t style as easy and he is forced to use static
guard on his clothes which makes him itchy. When he finds out what happened to
you, he goes to great lengths to ensure you are comfortable. He’ll listen to
you when you need to talk about it. Ignis constantly makes sure you know how
much he loves you and that he will protect you to the best of his ability. Even
with the minor annoyance of the static electricity, he loves you more than
anything else.
When you first tell Gladiolus about what happened and how
you are part Coeurl, he is so angry he has to leave. When you find him, he’s
punching a gym bag without gloves or any kind of protection to his hands.
Thinking he was mad at you, you were about to leave when you heard him cursing
the empire. “HOW COULD THEY DO THAT TO THEM?!?!” Each word accentuated with a
punch to the bag. His anger was never directed at you, but at the empire that
conducted the experiments. When he realizes you are there, he pulls you into a
hug, promising that he loves you and will never let anyone hurt you again. On a
lighter note, it is hilarious to watch the static get to his hair and make it stand on end.
Okay, while I am comfy with this, I’m also a little reluctant,
because writing autistic characters, even as an autistic person is really difficult. I’m sure you’re aware, but autism is a
spectrum and it affects different people in different ways. As
someone who’s low-spectrum, I’m going to struggle writing someone
who is high-spec. That being said, I have tried to place the S/Os at different places on the spectrum with different sensory
responses, but I can only do so much with my experiences. I apologise
in advance.
Also, I know @expectogladiolus got a similar request and she
did really well with it, so check her out!
Noctis:
Honestly, you could go your
entire life without telling Noctis about your autism, and you
considered it for a while. But, no, that wouldn’t be fair. You were so scared
to tell him, I mean, he’s the prince!
He wouldn’t want to be burdened with an autistic s/o. You’d be
nervous to tell anyone, but telling Noct was so much scarier because
he meant so much more to you than anyone else. Obviously, you had
nothing to worry about. He
completely understands having trouble in social situations and he
knows it can be distressing, but he’s not at all implying he gets
what it’s like being autistic, because on that front, he knows
he’s clueless. When you tell him about your light sensitivity he
starts covering your eyes when it gets bright. He gets you a pair of
cool sunglasses and you love
them! He thinks it’s
super cool that you can identify where you are based solely on smell,
but hates that strong smells give you headaches.
Prompto:
You were very upfront with
Prompto about your autism from word go. “Before this goes any
further, you need to know about this.” You spent almost all night
talking, explaining the way your autism affects you, your specific
sensory issues and your
hyperfixations. He asked questions and you responded, and by the end
of the night, he felt as if he had a pretty solid idea of what was
okay and not okay. You quickly learned that you liked stimming with
his hands, and he loved it, honestly. He always asks if it’s okay
to touch you and brings you
soft things to stim with when you seem to be getting overwhelmed,
even though he sometimes brings you something that’s the wrong
kind of soft(My
fellow tactile stimmers will understand).
That’s not to say he doesn’t slip up sometimes, of course he
does, it’s only natural, and you feel awful for yelling at him
afterwards, but you’re always quick to apologise and he was never
really upset to begin with.
Ignis:
Ignis never
thought he’d meet a fussier eater than Noctis. Enter you. “Just
pick the ham off your pizza.” The taste lingers! He
managed to piece together a few of your symptoms pretty early on, but
he never said anything. After all, you can’t tell if someone is
autistic based off a handful of behaviours. When
you did get around to telling him, he simply listened and asked you
as many questions as he needed to until he felt like he understood
you a little better. One thing he couldn’t seem to wrap your head
around was why you felt the need to put everything in your mouth.
That soap is blueberry scented, not flavoured.
He had hoped the chewy necklace he got you would help prevent you
putting things like that in your mouth. It didn’t. Although,
now you had something to
chew at all times, so you didn’t have to bite your fingers, which
was a big plus.
Gladiolus:
Unfortunately, Gladio had to
find out about your autism mid-shutdown. It
was too loud, too much, and you were overwhelmed. You had your hands
over your ears, whining to
yourself, trying to further block out the sounds. “Hey, you
alright?” Gladio put his hand on your shoulder. Which
was a wrong move. “No, don’t touch me!” you yelled, backing
away. Gladio is in full
panic mode because you are quite clearly in distress and he doesn’t
know how to help you. Luckily, your meltdowns don’t really last
long and you manage to pull yourself out of it. The
tears, however, did not stop. You apologised repeatedly for yelling
and for melting down in front of Gladio like that, but he insisted it
was fine, he was more worried about you.
You explained everything, including why you didn’t tell him before,
and Gladio was so, so
understanding. He assured you that you had nothing to worry about. He
loves you for you.
Your autism doesn’t change anything.
Cindy:
Cindy has always been super protective of you, and that just
increases when she finds out about your autism. She’s always
patient with you, and if you need something repeated, all you have to
do is ask. She gets that you hear everything, you just need a little
bit of time to process it, and she carries an extra pair of noise
cancelling headphones for when things get too loud. If she can see
you’re overwhelmed, she’ll apologise to whoever is around and
explain she needs to take you somewhere quiet for a while. Sometimes,
you need her to speak for you, and that’s okay, just let her know
what you need to get out and she’ll put your point across for you.
She’s the best at
preventing meltdowns because she knows exactly what to look for and
how to diffuse the situation. Just, Cindy for best autism girlfriend!
I met them when they were cosplaying Prompto and I’m pretty sure that they’re the most precious person to cosplay that beautiful ray of sunshine!!! So I couldn’t resist drawing the gang of FFXV celebrating the holidays!~

“It’s because of the cold, Gladio! It’s not-”
“There’s no need to feel embarrassed about it, I understand”
“You! Gladio, stop it!”
“I mean, I know I’m attractive, but there’s no need to-”
“Gladio!!!”
In the end he just smirks and hugs you because he found your reaction so cute and hilarious
“It’s because of the cold, stupid, not because of you!”
Even though now it is because of him and his cockiness
“I know, babe” He just kisses you to make up for the embarrassment
Ignis:
Ignis is pretty smooth and subtle about everything
So when he notices your cheeks are suddenly bright pink, he assumes it’s because of the cold
To keep you warm, he softly places an arm around you
However, since you can’t read his mind, you’re confused about the gesture
When you stare at him, he gets worried that it upset you
Even though the gesture was gentlemanly, respectful and gallant as usual
“Is this alright, Y/N?”
“I guess, but… Why are you doing it, Iggy?”
“I assumed you were cold, your cheeks turned a bright shade of pink”
This makea you self-conscious and you blush, adding to the flush
Ignis smiles lovingly and keeps you close, trying to brush the moment off
Not to further embarrass you, he changes the subject
“I’ll keep you warm, Y/N, would you like to have my jacket?”
“No! You’ll freeze to death!”
“I would still gladly lend it to you”
Of course, he’s an absolute gentleman about it all
Noctis:
You have no idea your cheeks did the flush at first
Until you notice Noct staring at you
You ignore him at first, but he’s not looking away!
“What are you looking at, Noct?!”
“Are you… blushing?”
“Well, now I am! Stop staring at me!”
“Why? Does it fluster you?”
Noct is smirking, but you defy him
“Don’t be so conceited, prince, my cheeks are probably red because of the cold”
“Uh… I…” Noct just starts stuttering, embarrassed about your sassy response
You smirk to yourself, even if feeling a bit guilty about him
In the end, Noct recovers quickly, confidently putting an arm over your shoulders
Even if you can see he’s the one blushing one
“If you’re cold, I’ll just keep you warm”
“Thanks, Noct, that’s really sweet”
“No problem”
Prompto:
Much like Noctis, Prompto would stare at you when he notices
With the only difference that he does look away when he thinks you noticed
He seems really flustered as you two walk in silence (something already strange, because he’s usually really talkative)
Until he finally pulls out his camera and takes a picture of you
“Prompto! What was that about?”
“S-Sorry!”
He’s so nervous that he upset you, but he wanted to take your picture so badly at that moment. It was an unique opportunity!
“Why did you do it put of the blue?”
“You just look… really c-cute…”
“Cute? Why?”
He then softly pokes your cheek and tells you they look pink
You start blushing for real, and he smiles
“It happens to me when I’m cold” You explain, a bit flustered
“Oh! Want me to… If you want, I can…”
You notice he’s holding his arms up welcoming you, but hesitates
So you take the step to hug him and steal his body warmth
He’s actually radiating heat, maybe because he seems embarrassed
“Did I really look cute enough that you absolutely needed to take my picture?”
“I, uh… Uh…” He gulps and stumbles over his words for a while
“Are you feeling warmer now?” He asks in the end, changing the subject

Honestly, you don’t even have to ask for a piggyback ride.
Gladio will just give you one at random times.
Mostly to lift up your spirits.
But when he gives you piggyback rides, they’re amazing.
You’re up so high, you can see what you’re missing since you’re not a tree like your boyfriend.
And it’s easier to press kisses to his stubbly cheek and neck.
He will go insane if you decide to whisper naughty things in his ear.
Don’t rile him up though, because he will up and run to get back to the haven or hotel you’re staying at to destroy you.
If you two are out in nature, he will carry you if its muddy or if there are a lot of snakes or ground insects if you’re squeamish.
He’ll cross rivers for you and jump across rocks no problem.
Just saying now, when gladio runs with you on his back, it’s terrifying.
Like you have a tank running… That doesn’t sound safe.
But if you’re in public and there’s an event happening, he’ll hoist you up so you can see better.
It’s better if it’s at night and there are annual fireworks.
Cue the jokes about how you suddenly became taller than him.
But if he’s feeling in the mood for some sugar, he’ll hoist you above him and lower your face down so he can kiss you before slipping you back to his back.

When Noctis fell asleep on the couch, he had been alone. A
weight on his chest after he awoke, however, told him that this was no longer
the case. As he awoke and saw you on his chest, he couldn’t stop the smile that
spread over his features. Gently, he stroked your back before closing his eyes.
One more nap couldn’t hurt.
Prompto was excited to say the least. Usually when the two
of you napped, he would be the one using your chest as a pillow. The fact that
you wish the do the same to him sends him over the moon. Curling up on the
couch with you in his arms is more than he could ever ask for and he ensures
you are comfortable. Unable to fall asleep himself, he just watches over you,
feeling like the luckiest man alive.
Ignis had been laying on the couch, resting his back, while
reading through reports when you curled up against his chest. After pulling the
blanket to cover you, he wrapped one arm around your waist, his hand tracing
gentle designs on your back as he kept reading the reports. After a time, he
found himself distracted by how cute you were. Setting the reports aside, he
focused on you, gently rubbing your back as you slept. Work could wait.
At first, Gladiolus was a little hesitant. Usually he’s not the
biggest cuddler in the world. All that changes when he lays down with you on
his broad chest. He becomes overwhelmed with the urge to protect you. He may be
Noctis’s shield, but seeing you in his arms makes him want to shield you too. He
tries to sleep, but keeps getting distracted by you sleeping on him, not in a
bad way. Finally, he settles for reading a book while tracing designs on your
back. He could get used to this.
Prompt: The bros are entering battle when, instead of a sword, Noctis accidentally pulls a sword-shaped dildo out of the Armiger. Two of the three other bros had no idea it was in there
I wanted something to show off the parts of theses characters that got cut off by the button design, but then I went ahead & chopped those parts off anyways. RIP.

I can never find a soundtrack for this movie but this is one of the sweetest songs I’ve heard in a kid’s movie (especially a kid’s movie so dark). That’s why I’m posting it. Dragon’s Lair: The Movie Kickstarter At A Standstill
With 10 days left on the Dragon’s Lair: The Movie Kickstarter, fund raising has come to a standstill. I’m sad to report that it doesn’t look good for the project. Since our original post on the project, not much has changed other than the deadline getting closer. Roughly $183,000 has been raised out of the goal $550,000. That is a whole lot to go. It’s not like there hasn’t been much of a showing. That $183k has come from 2144 backers.
The only chance of this thing happening is in the fans coming together and sharing the Kickstarter campaign everywhere. Tell everyone you know in the next 10 days. Even those of us who might not be the most avid of fans would love to see this thing get made. Let’s work together and show the big companies that this is what we really want.

Dragon’s Lair continues to be loved by millions around the world since 1983, and fans have been waiting patiently to see Dirk and Daphne at it again. A recently widowed mother, a mouse named Mrs. Brisby, must save her young son from dying from pneumonia. Living next to a farmhouse, she and her family faces great danger from tractors and the humans and their cat potentially harming her family, and realizes she must move her entire house away to a safer location, because simply moving the family would endanger her young son’s life, as the cold air would kill him.
Going great lengths to find out how she can move her house, she runs into other animals for help, and other rats who may help her- or even endanger her, while she learns more about her husband and what NIMH is…
The first animated feature film directed by Don Bluth, this one’s a classic, based off the 1971 book Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH.
From the main character, to the soundtrack, the art style and animation, it’s a very unique family film, a much more mature family film.
Brisby is my all time favorite character, even though she is frightened of what she faces, she continues to go forward knowing that she’d probably perish trying to protect her family, a different type of strong character, she’s also just the sweetest and has a very soothing voice that can easily comfort ❤
The tone and atmosphere of the whole film feels lighthearted and whimsical in some moments, but also feels epic and brooding at other times, and the inclusion of seemingly spiritual and mystical qualities makes it much more intriguing and opens a whole possibility of fan theories, analysis and speculation into the film.
The film’s soundtrack is also stellar, done by the legendary composer Jerry Goldsmith (who also did the soundtrack to Alien, Poltergeist, and Rudy) and helps cement and formulate the eerie and even lively tone of the film’s scenes.
This is one I’d highly recommend, not only is it a family film that can be looked at not only as a good mature story, but can be fully analyzed for what the film’s themes and motifs mean. It was the one film that really helped me get into writing and comics and Brisby is the one character who has had a huge impact on the characters I write, definitely check it out ❤
The film is on DVD/Blu-Ray, and is sometimes on Netflix! (not at the time of this posting though)

One of the best animated protagonists ever, Mrs Brisby[Mrs Frisby in the book Mrs Frisby and the Rats of Nimh] is just a mother that wants to save her dying child so she decides to go visit the Great Owl who directs her to Nicodemus and the rats of N.I.M.H and learns an incredible secret about her late husband. What’s the most admirable thing about her is that despite all the incredible things she learns, she never loses sight of her main goal which is to save her sick child,
