SQUALL LEONHART

• That fucking pretentious asshole secretly a sweetheart though who’s always posting photos of either angsty poetry, him holding a cigarette, or the sunset.
• “I just want someone who can understand me” well MAYBE if you actually opened up for once and stopped being all angsty on instagram my god
• Likes everything that Rinoa posts
• NEVER REPLIES TO DMS OR COMMENTS. He doesn’t intend to ignore people, though. If he doesn’t reply as soon as he sees it, then he’ll forget about it and never get back to it. He hates it.

IRVINE KINNEAS

• Has nooooo filter whatsoever, and most of the stuff he retweets and likes on twitter are from porn accounts, or photos of hot celebrities.
• Has an instagram, too. Mostly photos of himself. He’s not self-centred, he swears.
• Is always posting screenshots of the music he listens to. Surprisingly, none of it is country music. Thank god, though.
• Always uses the wink emoji for some reason. No matter what the comment or post is about. Squall posted something like this and Irvine commented: “yeah I get how you feel 😏” like what the fuck Irvine?
• His avatar/icon is Selphie wearing a cowboy hat. His cowboy hat.

RINOA HEARTILLY

• That nice girl who has a lot of friends and followers on instagram and always posts motivational things and cute photos of her pets.
• Very into social justice. She’ll always be up-to-date on the state of the world and she’s always being a mini-activist on facebook, as well as her instagram. She’s passionate about this stuff.
• Always commenting on Squall’s posts with various emojis even though he never replies. She knows he appreciates it since she gets the notifications that he likes her posts, of course!

SELPHIE TILMITT

• Calm down with the memes, Selph.
• Selphie: “hey do you like bofa”
  Irvine: “selphie stop you’ve asked me this ten times already today”
• She has a twitter, tumblr, and an instagram.
• Her instagram is mostly photos and videos of her friends, and it mainly consists of candid shots. It makes her look like a good student who’s enjoying her time with her friends, but her twitter and tumblr are a different story.
• She’d die if any of her friends found her twitter or tumblr. That’s for her internet friends only, where she has no shame or boundaries. 

ZELL DINCHT

• Has an instagram only
• Won’t shut up about how his mum is better than everyone else’s.
• Food. It’s all food. He’s convinced everyone that 98% of his life is consuming food. And it’s true.
• Every time he comes across a hot dog stand he snaps a photo of it, and one of him about to eat the hot dog, and he rates it out of 5 stars. He gives a detailed review and everything. He’s serious about food, and hot dogs especially.

QUISTIS TREPE

• An aspiring photographer on tumblr and instagram. She’s pretty popular, too.
• Most of her photography is in black and white but her blog and instagram is usually colour-themed. She’s a perfectionist.
• Most of her photography is captioned with a really long quote. No one understands how it’s relevant but she does, and that’s all that matters.
• She’s posted a selfie a couple of times and still to this day those are her most popular posts.
• Always commenting on whatever Selphie and Rinoa post because she’s supportive like that. It’s cute. Irvine gets annoyed and wonders why she never does that to him but c’mon…do you really not know why. She’s liked a few of his posts sometimes, though—the ones with Selphie in them—and he was over the moon.

Rinoa: She’s the easiest. She is the quintessential Gryffindor. Her entire character is basically “social justice warrior who doesn’t look before she leaps. Like 99% of her problems are caused by just diving headfirst into whatever because it’s the right thing to do. 

Squall: Maybe he’s a lion Gryffindor. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.) But lion-imagery aside, he’s certainly not lacking in reckless courage, and he isn’t particularly ambitious or loyal (except where Rinoa is concerned), and while he’s smart, intellectual pursuits are not really his priority. But he’ll drive headfirst into space danger without a second thought, and when he does choose to take a stand, he does it regardless of who he is standing up to. 

Quistis: Ravenclaw. I could hear an argument for Gryffindor for her, but her heart is with learning, and her obvious discomfort with being in the spotlight speaks more to stepping up in the name of curiosity and ethics, rather than in the pursuit of grand deeds. 

Seifer: Slytherin. I know it’s the obvious choice but like, the guy is ambitious. He knows what he wants and he goes for it, and most of his life is driven by this dream of his. 

Zell: Hufflepuff. He’s very loyal to Garden, and to Squall and Edea in particular. He has a lot of knowledge about history and geography, but often because of a personal connection to it (his grandfather), rather than a dedication to learning for the sake of learning. He’s also quick to express concern over the ways a plan could go wrong (hence his nickname), and would rather stay with his people and protect them and let someone else be the hero. 

Selphie: This is kind of instinct on this one but I kind of think Slytherin for her as well. But she’s very driven–and very clever about achieving her goals–i.e., the garden festival. She’s also fiercely protective of her friends and home, and doesn’t show quickness to forgive (such as with Seifer/Trabia). 

Irvine: He is honestly the hardest out of all of the main cast and I am SUPER INTERESTED in what other people think. I’d go with Ravenclaw, just because he seems content to quietly (er…relatively quietly) pursue his own interests (his speech on the nature of sharpshooters), and while probably not a bookworm the way Rinoa is, his speech on fate/choice indicates an awareness that there is more to the world that his own experience. 

Bonus: 

Fujin and Raijin: I really want to put them in Slytherin to keep the posse together, and probably do, but could hear Hufflepuff, since their defining characteristic is loyalty to Seifer. But they also turn against him when they can no longer support him, so it’s not blind loyalty, and kind of a Gryffindor thing to do as well. 

Laguna: He shares Rinoa’s “leap before you look” attitude, and even though he accidentally ends up in a position where he can help people rather than seeking it out, I’d still say Gryffindor for him, just because he’s foolhardy and can’t say no. 

Kiros: Slytherin. He’s just so shrewd. It fits. Ward: I’m not sure about.

• Not your run of the mill field spy; Ravus is highly skilled and knows how to get the information and item he’s contracted to look for by way of a silver tongue and perfectly executed acts of thievery. 
• He’s in the business because it’s a big part of who he is; his mother was a heroine of the industry herself, and taught him everything she knew.
• Refusing to stay behind the lines during any mission, he’s almost always the first man chosen for each and every job; because of this, Ravus is a master of disguise and has a niche for acting accordingly to his played persona, despite how naturally reserved he actually is.
• He’s perfectly skilled in the art of of the silent kill, though he rarely likes to get his hands dirty and executes his enemies if it’s absolutely necessary, or until Ignis nags him to the point in which only murder will shut him up.
• He’s almost always got something to say about how somebody has planned a mission; if he doesn’t have a complaint, it must be an off day.
• The company’s Golden Boy, sort of – expert in melee, long-range, and firearm weaponry, but relies solely on silence and stealth. 

Ignis Scientia

• The ‘you can’t do this without me.’
• See also: Expert Hacker.
• Code Name: [ DOUBLE HELIX ]
• A genius, for lack of a better word, Ignis is the man on the other side of the communicator – breaking and entering master computers, leading Ravus through endless mazes of unfamiliar hallways, and tracking the enemy – he oversees the mission from start to finish, operating each and every command as though they are puzzle pieces.
• Normally, he only communicates mission details with Noctis and Ravus before briefings, calculating all plans and roles in order to ensure that everything goes perfectly and without a hitch – everyone else receives a nicely written email. 
• Ignis, despite refusing to go out into the field, is very skilled at hand to hand combat – but he will not lay a finger on any one man, friend or foe. He has people for that. 
• If something does go wrong and it is his fault, there’s no way he’s admitting it, and no one will argue if he happens to blame them instead. 

Gladiolus Amicitia

• The ‘wanna get a room?’
• AKA: The Prime Distraction.
• Code Name: [ ADONIS ]
• Practically built for the role he’s meant to play, Gladiolus lets his body do the talking; the easiest way to get information from the enemy is to seduce them, of course. Besides, he enjoys the act far too much to think it anything but respectable.
• Often sent into large social gatherings and underground parties alike, he’s got the formal training and informal attitude that make men and women alike swoon at his presence.
• Or fall asleep, of course. Because after he’s lured them into their own private quarters, his sleight of hand and inventory of poisons and sedatives allow him to search and seize all of the physical evidence and information he needs from the lower level company men. 
• It’s an easy and enjoyable task, but integral to the grand scheme of a mission at whole; besides, he gets paid for cracking a few jokes and copping a feel. How can he complain?

Prompto Argentum

• The ‘do I have to shoot him?’
• AKA: The Assassin.
• Code Name: [ EAGLE II ]
• Sharpshooter and anxiety-ridden Prompto weeds out the big marks, often taking care of targets that are more than a little troublesome.
• Though he is a last resort, he also comes in handy when it comes to the tech Ravus carries on him during missions, keeping him well armed with interesting – albeit insanely useful – devices. 
• He was actually only supposed to be their techie, but after one combat training session and an accidental show of his skills, he got tossed into a role he couldn’t quite get out of. It would be totally uncool to say no to a higher paycheck, too.
• Despite the case of cold feet he always seems to get before a kill, Prompto aims true and never misses a shot, and if he does? Nyx is always there to clean up his messes; together, they are able to make any operation so discreet, the loss of a company head would take days to get to the media. 

Noctis Lucis Caelum

• The ‘my dad owns everything, so I know everything.’
• Read: Archive of Intelligence.
• Code Name: [ KING ]
• Noctis gathers intel and is the root of their company’s knowledge database; the fact that his father owns many large corporations and has his hands on several very important phone numbers, the entirety of the city is in the man’s hands. 
• Masterminding missions, Noctis is worried only about protecting normal citizens, keeping any underground trafficking to a minimum, and keeping his father’s business on top. Everyone in their group has their own reasons and motives for joining him, and though he cares deeply for them, he always sees the higher power at work.
• Though he is mostly bound to the company to keep appearances and discretion, he will work the field if he has to; he has partnered with Ravus more often than they both would like, but they make an unstoppable and powerful team.
• He has the fucking hots for Gladiolus, but he’s not sure if that’s because he’s a great guy or if he’s just that good at his job.

BONUS: Nyx Ulric

• The ‘jack of all trades, master of…uh, all trades, too.’
• Read: The Sweep.
• Code Name: [ EAGLE I ]
• He is as he’s called, though he’d rather be a hero, and cleans up in the midst of sticky situations. Ravus, Gladiolus, and Prompto are key stealth operatives, but Nyx’s close combat leaves him in the thick of the battle.
• Nyx takes care of any and all small fry, wiping them from the face of the earth if need be, and takes care of any dead bodies if that’s what it takes to get things done. 
• Though he does most of the real dirty work, there are a lot of miscellaneous jobs that fall to him, including getting answers by means of torture, kidnapping, or planting explosives. 
• But it doesn’t really matter what he has to do, as long as he gets to keep an eye on Prompto.
• Didn’t expect there to be a love story, did you?
