With everyone being hyped for Reignited, I feel the need to remind the world that there’s a canon design for adult Spyro and he has the most amazing sideburns
Thought I’d post this WIP of Cynder running for a Spyro MAP I am partaking in! Took a lot of inspiration from Spyro’s run cycle in the new Reignited trilogy. It’s just too cute!!

I was going to slow down on the Spyro content, but then Elora was revealed and I just had to. She’s so cute! Also Hunter is there with his stupid popcorn crystals from Magma Cone. I hate that challenge.
I remember in the game manual of Spyro 1 there was a fun little character model of an older looking Spyro and so I was curious as to how he might look in the new Reignited style. Since he’s an Artisan Dragon — I always imagined Spyro’s artistic talent being music.
I wonder if Toys of Bob would make their own bonus concept art of an older Spyro if the future for fun. It would probably end up looking much cooler than what I came up with.
Prompto: In a weird way, I’m gonna miss our road trip.

Gladio: That is weirder.
Ignis: We need an attack plan.
Gladio: Who the fuck needs a plan just attack.
Ignis: Why do I still love you.
Noctis drops his warp in mid-air, the sharp pain in his arm throwing his magic off, and he falls about 8 feet to the ground where he lies there, stunned and in pain. Prompto is immediately apologizing/freaking out/cracking Potions over the wound. Noct knows it was an accident and has to tell Prompto to stop feeling guilty, and make sure to never tease him about the incident.
Gladio doesn’t notice the bullet grazing his thigh, he’s got so much adrenaline from the battle–he only feels the pain when Ignis curses and slams his hand over the bleeding wound. Prompto apologizes from a distance, panicking, and avoids him. Gladio finds him later and tells him about the time he swung wide at Cor and busted the other man’s kneecap to make him feel better.
Ignis was expecting something like this to happen–after all, Prompto didn’t get a lot of “practical” gun training, avoiding allies is difficult. He tells Prompto it’s fine while forcing his own healing magic to his arm. The sharpshooter avoids eye contact for the rest of the day until Ignis firmly tells him it was an accident, stop that, would you please set the table?
(So, with Noct it’s “oh no please be okay they’re going to kick me out!”, with Gladio it’s “he’s going to rip me in half and then kick me out”, and with Ignis it’s “I hurt Mama Ignis, he’s going to kick me out”–different levels of guilt/panic for each)
And his winter victory pose has actually sealed the deal now. I got stupidly excited when I saw the cup. I made a dumb post before but now it’s time to explain it better. Here’s the cup in question:
The pattern on the cup is Kowhaiwhai, Maori designs that are painted or carved mostly in Marae, but it’s also printed on stuff like blankets and shirts and cups. And we buy all of that shit. Your Aunty is gonna have the tea set, the blanket, the slippers and the plates.
The pattern on Roadie’s cup is a Mangopare which is the hammerhead shark. Though the one on the cup is a little simpler like the one seen here:
It represents strength and power. Makes total sense for Roadhog. And that’s it, that’s why he’s Maori and it’s exciting to see bits of your own culture made by people in other countries coz lbr… most Maori stuff is made by us coz who else is gonna make it if we don’t?
