There was something utterly unreal about the idea of their ragtag group of mercenaries deciding to do this. Even after the discussion of their pasts actions towards one another, as well as the fact that about 90% of them had some sort of criminal connection or bounty on their head (or death certificates for at least two of their members), a Christmas Celebration was in order. It did not seem to matter that some members of the group did not celebrate the season (In fact, Ana and Fareeha were the first two to drag out the ancient plastic tree hidden away in the storage room). Nor did it seem to matter that some members of the group were on a path to redemption and did not want to be bothered with trivialities such as this. (Hanzo seemed particularly off-put with the idea of socializing). It was the holidays, damn it, and they were going to have a party.
It’s scary – Bell, Cineplex, Shaw, and Rogers are trying to censor the internet and force the end of net neutrality in Canada. And worse, they’re trying to do it behind closed doors.
These 4 companies, led by Bell, are pushing to create an internet “blacklist” of certain websites that all internet service providers in Canada would legally have to block. They know this outrageous proposal would never pass, so first, they tried to sneak it into NAFTA negotiations – and now Bell is expected to introduce its proposal to Canada’s telecom regulator TOMORROW.
Critics are calling this move “unprecedented” and dangerous. If these companies get their way, this internet blacklist would have absolutely zero oversight in the courts. We need to stop this urgently.
10. Ao Haru Ride– A really sweet romance that will that will take you on a roller-coaster of feels. More for those who enjoy the more dramatic side of romance.
9. Bokura Wa Minna Kawaisou – Another romance, only it’s more funny than anything else. Makes you laugh and root for the MC to get the girl.
8. Zankyou No Terror– A really compelling anime about terrorists… yes, terrorists. The soundtrack (by Yoko Kanno) is amazing, so if anything, check it out.
7. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun – A comedy that makes fun of the romance genre, which definitely did it’s job right.
6. Ping Pong: The Animation – An anime about ping pong, with weird art and an awesome story.
5. Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (2014) – Ideology and battles of epic proportions. Fate/Zero is still the best, but this is very close behind.
4. Barakamon – A funny and touching story about finding oneself.
3. Magi: The Kingdom Of Magic – The second season of Magi, with more action and great characters.
2. Kuroko No Basket Season 2 – Basketball, only better. Third season comes out January, and I can’t wait!

This year had the best arc, and it saddens me that it’s actually over. Why did it have to end? Everything about it is damn near perfect, and I don’t say that lightly.

However, when they go on vacation and people start getting kidnapped and murdered it’s up to the them to get to the bottom of it before one of them becomes a victim. Comedy, Police, Mystery
***Hey, Class President! (9/10): Chiga is a simple man. He has a crush on the Class President and wants to do everything in his power to keep the Class President out of trouble. So when an opening suddenly appears on the student council board Chiga finds himself taking up the role of Vice-President. Chiga finds himself protecting the Class President from train gropers and in-home rapist all while trying to convey his own feelings. Comedy, Drama, School Life, Slice of Life, Romance
***Hyakujitsu no Bara (Maiden Rose) (9/10): Forbidden love in every sense of the term. Taki is a beautiful prince seen as God’s pure vessel that will guide them to victory in the war. ***Ikoku Irokoi Romantan (Roman Holiday) (9/10): At his wife’s request Ranmaru agreed to get married on an extravagant cruise ship. However, the truth is that neither of them really want the wedding and his bride isn’t too fond of marrying into Ranmaru’s yakuza clan. After being kicked out of his room on his wedding night he finds himself sharing the bed with the captain of the ship, a handsome Italian gentleman named Al. When Ranmaru disembarks in Italy it looks like that will be the end of his relationship with Al until they keep finding each other, and soon their feelings can’t be ignored. Junjou Romantica (10/10): One of the most famous yaoi series of all time. This tells the story of three interlocking couples. The main couple is Misaki, a college student, and Usagi, a famous author. Misaki lost his family when he was young and the only family he has is his brother who is best friends with Usagi. Together they overcome loss and become stronger together. The other couples include an inspiring medical student and a heartbroken professor, and a divorced english professor and his ex-wife’s little brother. Romance, Comedy, Slice of life, Drama

***Kirepapa (8/10): Chisato is overly protective of his adorable son. So much so that he does everything in his power to drive his son’s friends away. However, the reason so many people flock to his son is not because they want to be friends, but because of Chisato‘s beautiful looks. Chisato remains unaware of this fact. After all of these years there is only one friend that remains by his son’s side, and Chisato wants nothing more than to get rid of the pest. He’s a stay at home author and admires a famous murder mystery author. Little does he know the books are written by his son’s friend based on his feelings towards Chisato. Comedy, Drama, Romance, Mystery

Anyway I tuned into MatPat’s Bill theory and it was like a jumper cable to the comic idea, so I did this at least. With any luck, I should be able to do it for 2018! Just hit me up with 600 coffees and I should be good to go!
A little fanart of Zell Dincht with his Limit Break: Dolphin Blow, for Final Fantasy VIII 15th Anniversary! I don’t remember the last time i drew some Final Fantasy… Too bad, I wanted to make something huge with composition, but i don’t have time!
Rinoa: She’s the easiest. She is the quintessential Gryffindor. Her entire character is basically “social justice warrior who doesn’t look before she leaps. Like 99% of her problems are caused by just diving headfirst into whatever because it’s the right thing to do.
Squall: Maybe he’s a lion Gryffindor. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.) But lion-imagery aside, he’s certainly not lacking in reckless courage, and he isn’t particularly ambitious or loyal (except where Rinoa is concerned), and while he’s smart, intellectual pursuits are not really his priority. But he’ll drive headfirst into space danger without a second thought, and when he does choose to take a stand, he does it regardless of who he is standing up to.
Quistis: Ravenclaw. I could hear an argument for Gryffindor for her, but her heart is with learning, and her obvious discomfort with being in the spotlight speaks more to stepping up in the name of curiosity and ethics, rather than in the pursuit of grand deeds.
Seifer: Slytherin. I know it’s the obvious choice but like, the guy is ambitious. He knows what he wants and he goes for it, and most of his life is driven by this dream of his.
Zell: Hufflepuff. He’s very loyal to Garden, and to Squall and Edea in particular. He has a lot of knowledge about history and geography, but often because of a personal connection to it (his grandfather), rather than a dedication to learning for the sake of learning. He’s also quick to express concern over the ways a plan could go wrong (hence his nickname), and would rather stay with his people and protect them and let someone else be the hero.
Selphie: This is kind of instinct on this one but I kind of think Slytherin for her as well. But she’s very driven–and very clever about achieving her goals–i.e., the garden festival. She’s also fiercely protective of her friends and home, and doesn’t show quickness to forgive (such as with Seifer/Trabia).
Irvine: He is honestly the hardest out of all of the main cast and I am SUPER INTERESTED in what other people think. I’d go with Ravenclaw, just because he seems content to quietly (er…relatively quietly) pursue his own interests (his speech on the nature of sharpshooters), and while probably not a bookworm the way Rinoa is, his speech on fate/choice indicates an awareness that there is more to the world that his own experience.
Bonus:
Fujin and Raijin: I really want to put them in Slytherin to keep the posse together, and probably do, but could hear Hufflepuff, since their defining characteristic is loyalty to Seifer. But they also turn against him when they can no longer support him, so it’s not blind loyalty, and kind of a Gryffindor thing to do as well.
Laguna: He shares Rinoa’s “leap before you look” attitude, and even though he accidentally ends up in a position where he can help people rather than seeking it out, I’d still say Gryffindor for him, just because he’s foolhardy and can’t say no.
Kiros: Slytherin. He’s just so shrewd. It fits. Ward: I’m not sure about.

Always commenting on whatever Selphie and Rinoa post because she’s supportive like that. It’s cute. Irvine gets annoyed and wonders why she never does that to him but c’mon…do you really not know why. She’s liked a few of his posts sometimes, though—the ones with Selphie in them—and he was over the moon.
Phantom Thief Char because I wanted to design one and also I may have lost myself in Persona 5 hell. Had a lot of fun warming up with this today though!

Felt like drawing my warcraft character, Garnet! SHE COMES FROM A LONG LINE OF GINGER PALADINS.
Garnet goes through the dark portal to AU draenor with a bunch of other footsoldiers, and amidst the chaos in Tannan she gets saved from a sticky situation by a perpetually helmet’d lady commander of the Alliance, who is subsequently killed by falling rocks. She picks up the helmet as it skids out of the rubble, and a bunch of alliance soldiers find her moments later like “OH THANK GOD COMMANDER ITS YOU WE NEED SOME BACKUP”. Garnet ends up just “WAIT WHAT”ing the rest of the way through Tannan, until they put her in a garrison like “HERE YOU GO COMMANDER GOOD LUCK.”
And so Garnet awkwardly bullshits her way through the Draenor campaign. Khadgar is the only one who figured out she’s not a commander, but has fun sending her on stupidly absurd tasks anyway.
