Everytime they can be together, McCree’s always having some sort of excuse to wrap his serape around Sombra or get it on her in some way.
Oh, it’s raining? “Here, darlin’, take this and cover yerself.”
It’s chilly out? “Here ya are, sweetheart, don’t want you gettin’ a cold.”
And no matter the silly excuse, Sombra just goes along with it because she likes the feel of his serape around her. It also smells of him, so she enjoys that aspect as well. She thinks it’s just a cute gesture.
But she doesn’t know that McCree wants to take a piece of her with him when they inevitably have to part ways. He makes sure to have her spend as much time with his serape as possible – sleeping with it, keeping warm with it, anything. It lets her scent linger onto the old, worn fabric. When they do have to leave one another, McCree keeps it wrapped around his shoulders even closer than usual. He ducks his head down every now and then and takes comfort in her lingering scent. He especially finds comfort with it when he’s settled down for the night. It makes him feel a little less lonely. The smell of sweet pea causes his stomach to flutter but makes his heart heavy – it’ll be too long before he can see her again.

4. Fav emote to use Not fair!! I love using almost all of his emotes. His laugh, hat tip, sitting, and dance emotes are my favorites, though. <3333 He’s too adorable
5. Fav voice line ‘After you’ and ‘I hear ya, pumpkin’ are great but any Mcsombra fan’s favorite line is ‘Next round’s on me’ because we all collectively freaked out at their matching anniversary voice lines last year xD
6. How often to I use this character
Just a bit more than I do Sombra. McCree is very aim-dependent to do any real damage and I suck at that. Plus, I feel like you need to have a good sense to play him effectively. Yeah, I don’t have that =_= I do have a few POTGS with him, though!
7. What I hope to see from them in the future I would love to see a cinematic of McCree that explored his past – a cinematic of the time he was still with Deadlock and that fateful day he met Gabriel Reyes and was offered to join Blackwatch…that would be amazing. Just more character and story development from his past would be awesome. I don’t really care if they focus on his future? Because it seems to me the vigilante lifestyle suits him…I just wanna see what he was like before.
anyways when sombra first realizes she has a crush on mccree she locks herself in her room and scours the internet for evidence of him being an idiot but not even the video of 17 year old jesse filming himself line dancing and twirling his gun is enough to make her stop liking him

This is the face of the man who couldn’t save his sidekick and is now having to watch as Endeavor takes a beating and yet again he’s HELPLESS. This is a new sensation for him, he hasn’t been retired all that long yet. That’s why he looks so broken, he wants to help but can’t. He’s entirely powerless now, leaving him at the mercy of whatever the villains throw his way.
He went from being this lovable, cheerful and extroverted man into someone who now wears what appears to be a dark suit jackets as apposed to his usual bright ass colour scheme. On top of that he’s a lot more reserved and quieter. The death of Nighteye and him realising he’s now just… not able to help? It’s breaking him.
Ooooh, the Chocobros as Paladins, huh? Gosh, I’ve been thinking about this since I got the request and like I’m about to throw down some opinions that most certainly are not solidly set in stone, so please if you want to amend any of these to fit your own headcanons, I welcome it! I wanna see what others think! 😀

Hi, thanks for the ask! This was somewhat cathartic to write–my father has terminal cancer–so thank you very much for the timely request.
Noctis is silent, but there, his presence like a security blanket for his S/O. Even if they insist they’ll be fine, he’ll be sitting on their couch waiting for the inevitable breakdown or five that day. He doesn’t tell them that it will get better, or that it happened for a reason, but that this wave will pass.
Prompto collects photographs for the funeral, and also makes an album to reminiscence for when they’re ready. Cries with them, but makes sure they stay hydrated and will east fast food with them for a week if that helps too. Somehow makes them feel like it’s okay to sob in the grocery store.
Gladio has a sixth sense for when his S/O gets too caught up in their sorrow, and he’ll call or text or show up just as the grief crests. If they need to get out of their home, they can crash with him. Gives a lot of long, firm hugs and will suggest memorial tattoo ideas if that’s their thing.
Ignis takes on emotional labor–he’s snarling at people who say callous things, he’s sending thank-yous for flowers, he’s handling the legal side of it. Once he knows they have nothing but grief to worry about, he’ll sit and hold their hand. And his planning will screech to a halt if his S/O is having a horrible day.

The first spray is pretty interesting to me. It’s most likely Calvera’s bar, which we’ve seen Sombra and McCree in before, and we know Zarya travelled through Dorado recently and clearly has stayed in contact with Sombra. The real questions are: what brought McCree to Dorado back in Reflections? Why is he still there/there again? Why is Hanzo in Dorado? We know he’s been travelling but it sure is interesting that so many of them would just happen to be in the same place. Popular place, as we know Junkrat, Roadhog and Soldier:76 have passed through there too, at the very least.
And D.va’s spray being of her on her own really emphasizes the sad reality that she currently has no connections to any other playable overwatch hero, or even any of the significant NPCs.
It definitely raises questions: at least two of the sprays (Watchparty and Living Room) have canon elements – all the characters are in contact with each other.
Like you said, Sombra and McCree have both been to Calaveras. Sombra and Zarya are in contact with each other. Sombra might also be in contact with McCree.
This leaves Hanzo as the ??? unknown element. How does he know them? Are these sprays canon? Do they imply anything??
If they are canon, the implication that they could be working together is intriguing to me. We know Sombra’s in contact with Zarya. We can easily see how she’d find and contact McCree, he is a well known criminal, and we’ve seen that she has files on him. And if she’s in contact with McCree, learning about Hanzo from him or any access she might have to overwatch files (they presumably have files on him, being the head of a criminal empire they took down)is not too much of a stretch. It’s easy to see. The question is why? What would she need them for, WHY would they agree?
Of course, they could just all happen to frequent the bar, it’s supposed to be pretty popular for those of ill repute, if I remember correctly. But that’s less fun to think about
Actually, we know talon knows of the Shimada clan, Retribution confirmed that. Talon knowing of Hanzo is already a given, esp with his in game interactions. Sombra knows of Hanzo, but meeting him in person with all these other individuals, after he’s expressed to us, the viewer, that he has no intention of working with Talon. And with McCree there, who’s always worked against Talon. Very interesting
Sombra has already said she’s using Talon for her own ends, but there’s additional evidence that she is basically the information broker for Reaper, Soldier: 76, Ana, McCree, and possibly Zarya. It is not impossible for her to have contact with Hanzo and have brought him into her own plans.
