Who said “I love you” first
– Mercy is the one says it but Roadhog immediately reacts. He wasn’t really sure how to put words to the feelings he had toward the doctor but when she said, he knew. He doesn’t respond verbally, but he gently cups her face, as if thanking her, hoping his touch will express what he can’t with words.
Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background
– I can’t see Roadhog or Mercy carrying around a personal phone but I could them both having a picture of one another to hold close.
Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror
– Again, can’t really see Mako or Angela doing this sorta thing, but I could see them writing on one of those whiteboard magnet things. 🙂 
Who buys the other cheesy gifts
– Angela would pick things up from the places she visits. She knows Mako has a fascination with those pachimari characters, so whenever she sees one, she’ll end up buying one for him, whether it’s a sticker or keychain. 
Who initiated the first kiss
– Mercy was the one who initiated, though that’s not to say that Mako didn’t want to kiss her, but he’d rather keep his feelings to himself because that’s the kind of man he is. 
Who kisses the other awake in the morning
– Angela likes to rouse Mako awake on the rare mornings where he sleeps in with kisses on the forehead. Usually, it’s the other way around, with Mako kissing Angela’s cheek which is enough to wake her, but he usually tries to do so gently so she can continue sleeping and he wants her to get rest.
Who starts tickle fights
– They’ll both occasionally poke one another or Mercy will drag her fingers down his arm in a playful manner, especially if they’re “angry” at one another. But before Mercy can get mean with her pokes, Mako can just easily grab her and they’ll both laugh it off.
Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower
– Asking is pretty much necessary since Mako is a big guy so spontaneously joining for showers might not work in their favor. Still, the times they both want to share, it’s usually set up with a more romantic mood in mind.
Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch
– Mako; Mercy is not much of a cook (read: not at all). But this is one of the few things from his life as a farmer that he enjoys picking up again. He experiments with different ingredients that he knows Angela enjoys. Mako is all too pleased to keep the busy medic fed.
Who was nervous and shy on the first date
– I would say they’re both a bit nervous the first time they attempt to do anything serious, such as a date! It’s almost cute – Mercy hasn’t been on many dates (that weren’t pity dates to be quite honest) and Mako hasn’t even thought about dating ever since he joined the ALF. In the end, they ignore the typical dating advice and just go out and enjoy things they both like.
Who kills/takes out the spiders
– Mako is surprisingly gentle with the creatures, easily picking them up and letting them back outside. There are tons of spiders in Australia, a few of them venemous, so Mercy worries about it and gets skittish when there’s a huntsman around, so she’s appreciative that Mako will take them out.
Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk
– Angela. Although she doesn’t get drunk often, I can see her being a happy drunk and practically climbing Mako to kiss his cheeks and claim how much she loves him. Mako sighs but no one sees the blush to his cheeks under his mask.
