Since there are soooo many characters in OVW, I’ll just limit this to McCree and Sombra, if that’s okay.
Now, pls forgive me – it’s been a hot minute since I’ve been invested in Star Wars lore.
But I can see Sombra as a spacer/smuggler who finds herself more into her business because of her fascination with ship technology and finding the best parts to make upgrades. She’s been known to sell some of her modified ships for a hefty price – frequently on the run from people who feel they were cheated by her. Has recently been interested in the dealing of information though she’s still new to it, all. Though she mostly relies on her tech, she does well with acrobatics and a blaster. Originally from Lothal, though orphaned. Force-sensitive but it’s dormant.
McCree is a mercenary who does his job mostly as a means to get away from his home system and see the galaxy on the money of his employers. He used to be part of a militia but he couldn’t stand taking orders from people so he left. Even though he’s not about mindless killing, most people he’s sent after are pretty scummy bastards so he has no issue taking them out. Originally from
Tatooine, but orphaned at a young age and worked on a moisture-farm until he was old enough to leave for other work. Not force-sensitive but has come across a lightsaber in his travels. He doesn’t really use it since it’s not his style but he thinks it’s a neat find.
I imagine they meet on one of McCree’s jobs. He’s been asked to take out a smuggler known as “Sombra”. He doesn’t really ask details but smugglers are usually not-so-nice who constantly take advantage of others so he has no issue with the job. He ends up in a game of cat-and-mouse, each time he thinks he’s close to his target just cause him to be greeted with a droid. He’s never had so much trouble tracking down anyone…but he finds it exciting. When he finally catches them, he’s surprised to find a rather young looking woman instead of the gruff and shady individuals he’s used to dealing with. Still, he knows looks can be deceiving.
I’d have to build on this a bit more but I’ll stop it here for now ‘cause it’s getting long, lol
