She doesn’t mean anything by it; it’s a VI of her own creation that scans through any communications (she is, after all, only human and can’t read millions of messages/databases without wasting an entire day). Nothing personal – she just can’t risk any information she needs or doesn’t want spread getting out of her hand. 

So when the flagged term ‘hacker’ gets sent to her main comm, Sombra’s nearly confused by the content of the search history. Then she looks at who made the search and it makes much more sense, unable to help laughing. Subtlety is not one of the gunslinger’s finer points.

Later that week, McCree gets an anonymous message, one that simply reads: “just asking them usually works. next friday at calaveras. 10pm.” It’s not very romantic but he does appreciate not beating around the bush.
