Perhaps Jack and Gabe (poly or separate) finding femreader in a horribly, horribly bad depression state after getting officially dumped by a toxic person who got bored of them? a/n: decided to write some poly headcanons for reader/r76. sorry that this took so long to get out anon! sorry if this isn’t as fluffy as you wanted it tho o oof. 

• When Jack found you he was instantly wrapping his arms around you and holding you close, and Gabe he wasn’t too far behind. You hadn’t talked to anyone in several weeks, and one fearful post had the two of them running. 
• Gabe had to resist every single fiber of his being to beat the shit out of your horrible toxic ex. Listening to you sob out how they did it because they were ‘bored of you and didn’t want you anymore’ just made him even more pissed. 
• You come first, his anger and any possible bodily harm to your ex can come from both him AND Jack later. 
• There is never a fast sort of fix for this, so it’s a nice and steady pace. Slow and never pushing you too far out of your comfort zone, but allowing you to take those steps on your own with both Jack and Gabe there as physical and emotional support when you need them. 
• Cuddling is something that you enjoy with Jack and Gabe. Gabe’s temperature runs a little bit higher than Jack’s so you’re always finding yourself falling asleep whenever you snuggle up with Gabe. Sometimes waking up on top of him whenever you doze off on the couch while he watches TV. 
• Jack is great at helping to soothe your nerves, his rough voice and those tender little circles he does with his thumbs while he rubs your arms, back, legs or your head often result in you chasing his touch whenever he removes his hands. 
• Meals are nice, Jack and Gabe bounce between cooking and take out making sure that you are eating and not skipping meals. 
• Sleeping arrangments were made the first night when you wiggled your way in-between the two of them on a little blanket pile you made on the floor. 
• It isn’t until the three of you are out shopping, holding hands and just being close to one another that someone asks how long the three of you had been dating. All three of you just sputter and look to one another for an answer, getting a laugh out of the asker who left without waiting for an answer. 
• It didn’t feel wrong, to be asked that. Everything just felt right when Jack and Gabe are with you. 
• After the three of you are finished with shopping, dinner is cooked you ask the two to be your boyfriend. Which you earned a smile and a yes from both of them.
