So how does Ashe react when she finds out about Reuben and Magdala? Does he tell her about how he feels first before they’re even together or does Ashe find out on her own because he’s kinda quiet in that regard? (sorry for assuming, i know his bio says he’s emotionally reclusive but a momma’s boy so i dunno if he tells her everything but to everyone else he’s quiet)

She’s very opposed to the whole thing. She sees history repeating itself and knows exactly who’s child that is trying to get close to her son. It’s part possessiveness and part protectiveness. She doesn’t want any McCree blood getting near her kid like that. 

Reuben has no idea how to even begin to talk about his feelings, but he’s not trying to hide it either. So, it’s more of Ashe taking the hint and reading in between the line. 

Ashe: Reuben.

Reuben: Yes?

Ashe: Do you like one of those twins?

Reuben: …I do. Her name’s Magdala. 

Ashe: Why on earth would you? You know where she comes from. She’s that fool’s daughter. She’ll never stay around for family. She’ll leave just like that. 

Reuben: …

Ashe: I know that look on your face. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya when she drags your heart through the dirt. She ain’t good enough for you.

Reuben: …

Reuben: *ducks his head and leaves*
