From far and wide, many know of the kingdom’s riches. So much gold that it can’t be carried. Silver as bright as the moon and laden into jewelry. It’s the perfect score for bandits.
They will get the riches delivered right into their hands.
The princesses, Ana and Magdala, are traveling through carriage one day. Of course their escort is armed with many soldiers. However, through a thick part in the forest, they are ambushed by bandits from every side. One bandit rips off the carriage door. Ana and Magdala are afraid but they don’t show it. Preparing to face against whoever comes for them, they stay close.
The royal escort isn’t entirely down, but the chaos is overpowering. A bandit, who’s mask hides his face but not his red eyes, scoops up Magdala despite her best efforts, and places her on his horse. Ana screams her sister’s name as she tries to grab her back, but the bandit gallops away. Soon, the rest of the bandits follow.
They have a princess. Now all they have to do is wait for their ransom money.
