Okay picture this. In an alternate universe, Mccree is dead and Sombra is missing. But they had a child that is less than a year old. For some reason the baby is left in the care of Ashe and Bob. Would Ashe take the baby under her wing, make Bob babysit the baby, or just leave the baby there? (Hope it’s not the last one.)

I don’t think Sombra would ever leave her child to someone else, what with what she’s been through, and in the case that something happened to their child, I would think that McCree and Sombra would agree with someone he knew through Overwatch would be a better caretaker rather than an ex-friend/current Gang leader.

But for the sake of the ask, I’d say that Ashe would more than likely just take the baby in. She certainly wouldn’t be mom of the year or love the kid like she was their mom, but she wouldn’t just leave them there. BOB would more than likely do most of the care but Ashe would take over when it came to teaching the kid everything she knows. If they’re going to stick around, might as well make them Deadlock material. Just because she’s not willing to become a mother or not their real mother, doesn’t mean she can’t offer Deadlock as a family for them.
