Is the McSombra family cat or dog people?

Good question: I’d like to say that I can’t envision Sombra really wanting to take care of an animal in canon, but I do think that she doesn’t mind the occasional stray cat that makes its way toward her – if it’s calm and rubs up against her leg, she’ll let it sniff her arm and then pet it if it allows her. Dogs are a bit too excitable for her. 

McCree is the animal guy. He prefers dogs – he loves dogs with floppy ears so he can pet them and just watch their ears go ‘flop flop flop’. He has a lot of experience with dogs so he’d probably adopt one down the line, on the basis that he was the one responsible for taking care of it. Sombra would eventually warm up to it but she mostly leaves it to McCree.
