Ahhh! Sorry if it’s too early for Thanksgiving prompts but I’m in a mood for McSombra fluff lol. These two don’t strike me as very traditional when it comes to holidays, especially Sombra who never celebrated Thanksgiving in Mexico before. But they start their own traditions together that they continue with their children for years to come. Holidays at their house are a relaxed thing. No stress. But above all, they’re grateful to have found each other, to have a family and home.

No worries! It’s never too late or early for Mcsombra fluff! (ノ≧∀≦)ノ

I agree completely – definitely not the traditional sorts. I’ve always felt like McCree would look at the calendar and be like “Oh, it’s Halloween/Thanksgiving…” but not really care much about celebrating while Sombra doesn’t celebrate holidays much either, and any excuse to celebrate would just be reason for her to go get a drink or something.

If either one of them were to stress over holiday preparations or hype, they might get a strange look from the other. Still, all either one of them has to do is say ‘I wanna celebrate this holiday,’ and it’ll be done.

Thanksgiving for them started off with McCree making a comment about it being Thanksgiving back in the States and a cheesy line about how grateful he was to have her. From then on, it becomes a sort of tradition to just bring it up on Thanksgiving and pass a ‘I’m grateful to have you’ not so cleverly disguised as an excuse to flirt, but they will hug one another – it’s nice to just be reminded of all the good things they do have every now and then!
