This is gonna be my last post about this but I just realized that Ardyn was in the same position Prompto was in, strings in the skin and all and when he was found it was Prompto’s dad who saw him like that, maybe Ardyn did all that to Prompto for revenge on Verstael for something he did or to reverse roles bc like
