I’m not gonna lie. I really want to read some McSombra fan fiction about Sombra getting a little jealous about Ashe and McCree’s past. Only to have McCree reassure Sombra that his days with Ashe are long over and she’s the only one for him.

Hmm, I get the appeal, I really do, but personally for me, I just can’t see Sombra being jealous over things that happened in the past, and quite frankly, when she was at an age where romance or the future desire for one wasn’t anywhere on her mind. I just see her as too goal oriented to really care about that stuff. For me, jealous-Sombra doesn’t start springing up until she’s well-established in a relationship with McCree. 

However, I can definitely see her possibly being envious of the friendship that they had between them, though McCree would tell her that things just hadn’t been the same since he left Deadlock the first time as Ashe took it his leaving to heart. If anything, hearing him talk about Deadlock and how Ashe really saw it more as a family might remind her how Los Muertos was that sorta surrogate family she had growing up, even if they were gangs. And she’s just glad that she has that in common with him – it makes her feel like McCree would definitely understand where she came from. ❤
