honest to god i think the moment when Izuku initiates and shows physical affection towards All Might will be a BIG MOMENT in their relationship

b/c Izuku is still standoff-ish when it comes to physical affection, even tho he clearly enjoys it, and All Might has been the one to consistently initiate it bettween the two of them

i want Izuku to hug his dad ok 

i want Izuku to get to a point where he feels so comfortable around All Might that he’s overwhelmed with emotion and he just jumps up and hugs Toshi without any hesitation

#Considering the cultural differences concerning skinship in Japan and America that step between them would be so huge #it’s not a thing in Japan – skinship in public is very much different there and not something that happens like here #so Izuku reaching out to initiate it with Toshinori like that…. it’s kind of akin to a physical step forward in their relationship #He would be pushing past the hesitance and any other feelings he has about it bc he’s comfortable enough w Toshi for it#and by gOD THAT’S SOMETHING MY HEART CAN’T HANDLE I LOVE IT SO MUCH #THERE’S NO DOUBT TOSHINORI WOULD BE OVERWHELMED TOO – BC HE’D KNOW FULL WELL THE CULTURAL CONNOTATIONS AND WHAT THE ACTION MEANS #and here is this kid – his kid – who just came and hugged him without any hesitation of prior provocation and it’s #It would be so good I’m gonna cry I love it (via @blacknovelist55)
