Can I get comfort from noct and ignis? I want to tell my parents that I want to quit the medical feild… but dont know how. So a lil comfort would be nice…

Noctis requested that I start this first, probably because he is unsure of the words he wishes to say to you. But, I do believe in this case that honesty is the best policy. 

I understand that it will be difficult to tell them that you have quit, but you are doing this for your sake. Not theirs. I–we–would rather you take care of yourself by any means necessary than live your life for someone else.

Sorry to butt in, but, you know I’m not the best with words…and I wanted you to know that while I agree with what Ignis told you, I want to remind you that Ignis and I are always going to be here for you. Cheering you on no matter what you choose to do in your life.

We want you to be happy. That’s it. 

And if quitting what you’re doing and going to do something else will make you happy, then do it. I’m…probably making it easier than it sounds…

Noctis is right as well Darling, but you will find a way. Perhaps sit them down, over tea, and tell them what makes you unhappy about it. And go from there. Honesty sometimes hurts, but at the same time, lying to someone makes all parties unhappy when the truth is revealed.
