The story that I’m writing for the Crossover is currently during game.
The bros meet the Hunter from Astrea during their hunt for Deadeye…and since the hunter is used to large monsters they jump into the fray even though they’re weaponless. [Think of how the game starts in MHW.]
So, technically, the bros and the hunter have kind of met the Visitor from Eorzea.
Hunter: *returns home, and lands smack dab in the middle of a hunt* Uh….OH. It’s just a behemoth. PSH. No big deal.
Other hunters: HUH? No big deal? What do you mean NO BIG DEAL? Wait a sec…WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!
I am assuming that those on Astrea call Eos Eorzea – which would make sense given the ‘Hunter’s Language’ and how they pronounce things. So I wonder, in a sense then, who’s popped back and forth between Astrea and Eos…?
Hmm.. seems I have more plot kittens now. X3
@phoenix-manga loves to sneak HC’s at me with her doodles, and I freak out EVERY dang time she does it cause it makes me more excited to write this story–when the muse is content to do so that is.
