I recently replayed Ep Ignis and gosh their fighting styles together is such a gorgeous waltz. Ignis and Ravus united are the poetry of love and war given form. Their poetry was born in the dark as they reached ever upwards convinced that the light still existed. They are just both such intensely passionate individuals, although it’s not always easy for them to show what they’re feeling. Their symphony is loud and full of feeling, haunted by the ghosts of all the things they once desired. Their waltz is one of memories, once tender, and golden, and bright, now dashed to pieces against the prison walls of their fate. They walk a knife’s edge, but they’d fall and do it again a million times to protect the ones they love.
