What would chocobros do if their partner was feeling down about themself?

The boy wouldn’t know what too do at first.

He’d be awkward so very awkward.

Would really really try his best too comfort them. Giving them compliments and affection.

He’ll do ANYTHING too make them stop feeling bad about themself. They want ice cream? Ok. Wanna watch a movie? That’s good too.

Eventually he’ll just settle with whispering sweet nothings into their ear and cuddling them as best as possible. But only if they’re ok with that.

Prompto:
He’s likely right there the moment they start too feel bad. Doesn’t matter where he is at the time. He’ll find a way too them.

Covers them in kisses and holds them in a tight hug. With many reassurances that they’re the most perfect person in the world.

As he’s dealt with this situation with his own self, he’ll try his best too give them advice on how too cheer themselves up should he not be able to be there(it won’t happen, he’s always there).

He probably ends up crying because his s/o is sad. Which leads into even more kisses, just a lot more salty. Tries too make the situation much more lighthearted. While still crying.

Gladdy:
He doesn’t realize it at first. Not until his s/o either says something or it becomes obvious in their actions.

He’s immediately pulling them into a warm embrace and probably whispers (sometimes dirty) pick up lines into his s/o’s ear.

If he can, he takes them out on a date so he can give them absurd amounts of PDA so everyone knows he appreciates who they are.

If they don’t want too leave the house, he feeds them cup noodles while trying too cheer them up from their self-doubt.

Eventually he’ll cuddle then the rest of the day while basically worshiping the ground they walk on. Probably dramatically.

Ignis:
He notices immediately, nothing escapes his eye when it comes too his s/o.

Immediately calls off work and sets everything else aside for the rest of the day.

He’s right by them with their favorite food and flowers he managed too somehow get(he’s magical, lol)

Isn’t too large on affection, so he instead takes them out too the place they had their first kiss/date and reminds them why he chose them over everyone else.

Points out all their best qualities and whispers about how much he loves them.

If they want something, Ignis will get it. Immediately. Best not too question how.

Since he’s rather used too the feeling of self doubt, much like Prompto, he tries to encourage them too talk about their feelings the best he can.

Most defintely gives them the smoothest pick up lines ever. Just to show he loves them more than ever.
