For Mod Manda: Can you do some Dino nervous headcanons? Like on his first date with his s/o, he’s a nervous wreck, but it’s adorable? ~ Lykos <3

Dating HC’s for my boy Dino, huh? *grin* Alrighty Doll, I think I can do that – maybe, if I don’t get too story driven. ♥

• Dino doesn’t want to admit it, but it actually took him 3 days to gather up the nerve to be able to ask you out on a date
• You’re just so wonderful and amazing and all the things that make him flustered and have butterflies in his stomach.
• He paced the dock, rather than sitting, cause he was all bound up into one big lump of nerves.
• He also refuses to admit that you caught him going over his speech, mumbling and muttering to himself so much that when you touched his shoulder, he shrieked like a girl in surprise.
• After he blinked at you and you laughed at him a bit, he relaxed, managed to somehow, get through asking you out on a date.
• Was absolutely over the moon when you said yes.
• Had to remind himself to calm it down with his excitement. [Dial it back from 11 Dino…]
• Told you that he was willing to take you anywhere you wanted to go. Even all the way out to Altissia for Maagho.
• When you told him the Mother of Pearl and the Quay was fine, he huffed a bit, but would make it work.
• He picked you up at the caravan, dressed rather relaxed but nicely – Black button down with the top two buttons undone, jeans and boots.
• He offered you his arm as he walked back with you to the restaurant, and he was pretty damned sure you could hear the loud beat of his heart.
• When you get seated at the restaurant, he can barely contain his nerves as he looks over to the waiter, and nods.
• Attempts to spoil you rotten – Wine. Dinner. Dessert. And a handmade gift from him – just something simple but elegant that compliments your eyes in the most perfect way.
• Everything at dinner went smoothly, thank the six, and he heaved a sigh of relief at that.
• But the moonlit walk you had decided to take after dinner…didn’t go as well as he had planned.
• He walked you out on the fishing dock, just to look at the water.
• The two of you stood there in relative silence, just enjoying each others company, hands laced together.
• His butterflies had returned full force, and he swallowed hard as he looked at you. You were just so…everything.
• His fingers trembled as he pet them against your cheek, getting you to look at him.
• He wanted to kiss you, so bad.
• He turned to lean in…. And didn’t realize how close to the edge of the dock he was, and lost his footing. With a curse, he flailed a bit then fell right into the water.
• He heard your muffled cry out to him as he sank a bit, but he felt so… so stupid.
• Slowly he came back up to the surface, just slowly edging out of the water. Peeking up through the locks of hair that were now down over his eyes. He huffed.
• Welp. “Way to go Ghiranze.” He was sure you were embarrassed.
• He heard you choke back a noise before he looked up at you, and you started to laugh.
• He sighed and hung his head a bit. “Well…shit.”
• “Are you alright?” you said with a bit of laughter in your voice.
• “Yeah, m’fine…”
• “Dino…” you called to him causing him to look up at you.
• Only to go wide eyed as you leapt over him and literally cannonballed it into the water.
• He sputtered then blinked at you as you surfaced, pushing your hair out of the way, then smirked, moving close enough to push his bangs out of his face.
• “Now we match!” you said as you leaned in, and kissed his cheek.
• He knew right then that he needed to keep you at his side forever, and he burst out laughing.
