Now that I think about it… Hunter just took an oath and hit some wood in the training arena a few times then they’re good to go

…. Unless there’s this lore thing about training hunters that I’m not aware of. But whatevs I’m sticking to the in-game story and gameplay.

But could you imagine the white hair Ignis would have if he found out? Not much training and they set out to fight monsters of sheer size.

Ignis: you mean to tell me… Not O N E trains for years…. They just put themselves in danger once they figured out how to use weapons???!!!!

Hunter: Well… yeah?

Ignis: *sort of wobbles on his feet* 

Palico: Uh! Meowster Specs! Are mew alright?! *paws gently grasp his hand* 

Ignis: I’m-I’m fine. I think…

Gladio: So you mean to tell me, that you only go hunting when you can lift your weapons?

Hunter: *blinks, then looks at Ignis, then back* Yes.

Ignis: *feels faint* 

Palico: Ah! Meowster Specs! *Fluffs up a bit and tries to catch him from falling over*
