OK if you ask me what I find great about every single thing in Ignis’ default costume range first of all
—it’s Ignis, so he’s pretty much perfect no matter what he’s wearing. But ahem, on a more serious note:
1. Crownsguard Fatigues
- It’s the one that screams “Ignis” the most—the neat, sharp, slick, classy advisor to the Lucian prince
- You can’t go wrong with a well-fitted suit
- The shirt’s leopard print is pretty cute
2. Crownsguard Fatigues (No Jacket)
Well hello sweet forearms- A no-jacket version of the default clothes is always welcome
- I’m 500% biased towards the elbow-height rolled sleeves+gloves combination
3. Casual Outfit
- Ayy my favourite (and quite a few other people’s too, it seems—hello there brethren)
- The rare light-coloured clothes that also accentuates the best parts of Ignis’ form? Sign me the hell up
- Okay fine I confess I’m also a sucker for suspenders
4. Casual Outfit (No Jacket)
- The only clothes in Ignis’ inventory that is both (1) short-sleeved and (2) not pitch black, a.k.a. “the only thing I can stand wearing under the Leiden sun”
- I like the soft grey of the shirt
- It’s the only clothes Ignis has that features the Crownsguard logo in a conspicuous place (no idea why it’s on a “casual outfit” tho)
5. Kingsglaive Garb
- This magic uniform can make even the sloppiest person presentable, imagine what it can do for Ignis-caliber people
- It looks really good on post-timeskip!Ignis, of course, but I gotta love that slight adorableness that comes out when default!Ignis wears it
- Essentially a coolest-looking-for-minimum-effort photos generator
6. Kingsglaive Garb (No Jacket)
- Fits just right around the torso
- Looks good, feels good
- Gives Ignis a bit more edge to his usually smooth looks, I like that
This is all just me, so I’m sure everyone has their own reasons for liking one particular costume choice over the other. Not that there’s any wrong answer to this particular question, am I right? ( `▽ ´ )
