I actually really like Elora’s new look! 

But one thing I noticed about her (and Sheila’s) eyes is that…the irises are kind of static. Which makes sense, given how in real life, irises don’t dilate the same way Pupils do.

But for cartoons, I think dilating the iris is a great way to exaggerate certain emotions. Like this one here! In the original, she looks kind of neutral, so I shrunk the irises and made them a bit more focused for that “whaaat are you serious??” look. (I also brightened them up a little bit!)
