YO. Let me drop some truth bombs for you people who continue to give others shit for liking villains.
People don’t like Zenos just because he is aesthetically pleasing or hot. He is legitimately an interesting villain to some of us. It’s understandable that you may not like him, that’s fine. But leave us that do alone.
We do not condone the actions of villains just because we like them. Sure, some few people might try and make excuses for their actions, but the majority of fans know he is horrible.
And so what if the villains are nice to look at? You know what classic villain is also nice to look at? Satan, the most beautiful of all angels and the lord of 72 demon generals. Yep.
Please, attractive villains have been a thing forever. So too have been people that love villains for the conflict, drama and personal introspection they can bring. Villains explore the darker sides of humanity and often believe themselves to be heroes. Some, like Zenos, simply want to enjoy something before they die. There are tons of motivations, just like with heroes. So why reduce a villain to black or white, when there are so many delicious shades of grey.
This goes for those that like Yotsuyu, Fordola, Nidhogg, Thordan, Gaius, Varis, etc. Villains are all so vastly different, and some can be redeemed. They can have good reason to be against the heroes. And such are our reasons for loving them.
