Could you please write about how the chocobros react if their s/o having nose bleeds? (Sorry for my broken English.)

thechocohoes:

No worries about the English, anon! You did just fine 😊

Sooooo – let’s talk nosebleeds: most people’s initial gut reaction to them is somewhat unsavory. I mean, your insides are leaking to your outsides – it’s understandably a little unsettling.

Having said that, however, the wonderful world of anime has taught us that this little glitch in homeostasis can also be a sign of embarrassment at the sight of somebody/something beautiful and/or attractive! A sort of physical give away that a character is in awe, if you will.

(A perfect albeit dramatic example of this is Sunako Nakahara in the anime “The Wallflower”, who literally screeches and bleeds in response to seeing the “creatures of light” – the attractive men she lives with. Tbh we’re all a little like Sunako)

HAVING SAID THAT! I’ll be approaching this prompt from both a lighthearted and an anime driven perspective. It makes for a silly and cute scenario for our beloved chocobros, wouldn’t you agree? 💕

IGNIS’ gut reaction to seeing his s/o clutching the tissues to their nose, embarassedly ducking their head and failing to hide the red that spilled from it, is going to be first and foremost a reaction of concern. Being the caretaker that he is, his natural instinct will be to circle an arm around his s/o’s waist, hoist them up onto the counter, and softly instruct them to stay put and tilt their head back while he wipes away the blood with a warm wash cloth. His s/o shouldn’t dare think about telling him they’re fine – he’ll merely click his tongue and shush them, murmurring that he has perfectly working hands to fix them up. Once the blood flow has stopped and he’s made sure his s/o isn’t hurt, or bleeding as a result of an injury to the face or head, however, you can bet your entire month’s paycheck of gil that this cheeky son of a bitch is going to milk the happening for as long as he possibly can. In the midst of wiping their face, he’ll let a sly “I wasn’t aware that my dashing good looks were that much of a distration to you..” slip out, a devilish grin scrawled in Sharpie all over his face. Should they try to protest, he’ll simply press his glasses to his face, a serious expression fixed upon it, and shake his head, promising them he’ll be more mindful of how his handsome face burdens them. Who knew the man was such a tease?
