This was more funny in my head.

“This is bullshit”
“Language.”
“Fuck you.”
“Showing a bit of a temper there Noct.” Said Prince threw the cards in his hands on the table.
“Maybe I wouldn’t if SOMEONE wasn’t always winning!” He looked at his advisor with a scowl, the expression deepening as he saw the smirk appearing on his face.
“Frustrated Noct?”
“We ALL tried to beat you and you still won! So YES.”
“Good.” Prompto laughed, grabbing everyone’s cards and shuffling the deck again.
“So he’s a card master and can never be beaten by us mortals, not like that’s anything new, Wanna start another round buddy?”
“Damn right I do, I won’t stop till I’ve won, Gladio, help avenge my honor!” He grabbed the cards dealt to him and glared at Ignis, as if expecting him to try and peek at his cards.
“Come now Noctis, it’s merely a game.” Noctis scoffed at his words.
“It’s a matter of life and death.” Prompto snorted at that.
“Dude, it’s UNO.” Prompto wasn’t fazed when he got a glare in response.
“Life and death!” Gladio shook his head and grabbed his cards.
“Just let the Princess get what he wants, not like it’ll help him win, no matter if we help him or not.” He earned a glare from said princess for that comment.
“Once I’m finished with him, you’re next.”
“Looking forward to it m’lady.”
“And what is going on here?”
“Dad!”
“Your Majesty.” Regis looked amused as he moved closer to the four sitting down.
“Playing a game I see.” Noctis grumbled as he looked down at his cards, Regis could only chuckle.
“Seems someone isn’t blessed by the cards today.” Prompto snorted before covering his face, hoping no one noticed.
“He’s never blessed when facing Iggy.” Ignis shrugged, picking his cards up again.
“Merely aware of his highness’ cues.’ Noctis slowly shook a fist at him, earning more laughter from the group, Gladio grinning widely.
“He just sucks at UNO.” Regis looked at the cards and nodded solemnly.
“Ah UNO, truly a test of skill, I can see why he would be angered that he, as young Gladiolus said, ‘sucks at UNO’. “ He looked at his son pitifully. “Realizing his lack of skill is a perfectly fine reason to be angry.”
“DAD!”
The three laughed at the king’s words but roared at the prince’s look of pure betrayal.
“I trusted you and you betray me like this? I challenge you to a battle to the death!” Regis shrugged, not looking phased.
“If you wish to taste defeat at the hands of your father, I’ll be glad to put you into place.”
“Oooh dude, he just threw down the gauntlet!!” Prompto looked both excited and freaked out that he was about to play with the king. Noctis had fire in his eyes.
“Beating me might be easy-“ “Oh look, he admits it.” “-SHUT UP GLADIO, but can you beat Iggy here?” Regis looked at Ignis for a brief moment before turning away, not at all concerned.
“It would be nice to play against a possibly difficult opponent.” Ignis stared at him, a look in his eyes as he gently placed his cards on the table.
“…’possibly’…?” Regis made a small noise, as he looked at his son’s cards.
“Well, i’ve faced worst opponents than a child.” He looked at his son. “Or CHILDREN, as this current case is.” Noctis slammed a fist on the table as Ignis adjusted his glasses.
“Oh it is ON old man! Ignis, re-deal the cards!”
“Very well.” Regis sitting down as he shuffled.
“Let’s all have fun shall we?” He said with a simple smile.
“I’ll get a set of cards so good, I’ll slaughter you all in one strike!”
“Big words my son, but can you back them up?”
“I’ll enjoy witnessing the upcoming events taking place as I once again take victory.”
“Such confidence, it shall be amusing watching your downfall.”
“You mean it shall be amusing watching YOUR downfall.”
“Wishing for the downfall of your king?”
“Only when it matters.”
“Dude. It’s a GAME.” Noctis, Regis, and Ignis turned to Prompto before looking at each other.
“Battle to the death.” Noctis declared fiercely.
Regis smiled and nodded. “Battle to the death.”
Ignis hummed and tapped his cards. “Battle to the death.”
Gladio laughed as he watched Prompto begin to look nervous at the aura the three men were displaying. He knocked on the table and placed a card down.
“I’ll go first but I think Prompto here has a really good set of cards.” He says gleefully as Prompto looked at him in horror as the other three turned their sharp, calculating eyes at him. “let’s see who wins this round.”
