8 – Nicknames? & if so, how did they originate?

Mercy and Moira don’t really give each other nicknames – they do, however, play this little game that started out between them out of tension and rivalry. Where they used to be distant and only call each other by ‘Doctor’ – now, it’s said with a mischievous and light tone, and a smile touching at their lips. The ‘doctor’ that everyone else uses to address them is completely different from the ‘doctor’ that they use to talk to one another. 

18 – Who leaves little notes in the other’s one lunch? (Bonus: what does it usually say?)

They both leave sticky notes for each other – but not in lunches, rather their coffee/tea thermos and mugs. Sometimes they’ll be reminders of things due or any cultures that are due for a check in the lab. Moira will often leave a paper bag lunch on Mercy’s desk, a small baggie of celery sticks with a stickie note that says ‘Get some vitamin K in you, doctor’ – only Mercy hates celery. 

And since Mercy can’t cook worth a damn, she sneaks notes into Moira’s lunch, a note attached to a bag of baby carrots reading ‘Only if you get some vitamin A, doctor’…and she knows very well that Moira despises carrots.
