8 and 17 for Moira/Reaper?

This is…an interesting pairing, for sure. xD Not sure if I ship it, but here it goes!

8 – Nicknames? & if so, how did they originate?

I think if there were any nicknames involved, it would’ve been when Reaper was still known as Gabriel Reyes. I feel like he might’ve called Moira ‘Red’ because of her red hair. I dunno, for some reason, I got the image in my head of Moira and Reyes passing each other down a corridor with Reyes reaching up to flick one of Moira’s short locks while muttering the nickname. 

Moira, however, doesn’t really do nicknames. She’s mostly sarcastic with it – her preferred being ‘Commander’. Sometimes, she might be fancy and say ‘Our illustrious leader’ just to make him mad.

17 – Who says I love you first?

This is difficult. I don’t really see either of them being the type to say it. Maybe they never do. Maybe those feelings just go unspoken because it never feels right for them to say such words. Moira knows Reaper so intimately because of her experiments, knows things about him that he probably never told anyone else out of precaution. I’m sure ‘I love you’ shows more through Moira coming to his aid or Reaper protecting Moira (via a shotgun blast to the face of an approaching hostile).
