29 and 30 HanMei!

29 – one headcanon about this OTP that breaks your heart.
Hm, probably my headcanon where I believe that once Mei found out about Hanzo’s past and attacking his brother, whether he was successful or not, it would put a quick stop to any relationship that they were building. It’s hard for Mei, who was surrounded by death all too suddenly, to really accept the idea that Hanzo would go after his own family. Hanzo doesn’t blame her but he’s also not going to waste his time trying to defend himself (as he already owns up to this fact, even if it is with a heavy heart).

30 – one headcanon about this OTP that mends it.

I like to think that even after this discovery, Mei and Hanzo can start a new relationship, one where they’re both completely honest with one another. It takes a lot of time and even some admission of mistrust but Mei learns more about Hanzo’s upbringing and they can begin anew. She can’t say she understands his explanation for it, but she appreciates his honesty and sees firsthand how he’s changed since that experience.
