7 – What’s the first thing that changes when they realize they have feelings for the other?
It might be a bit crude, but these two totally seem the type to start off as bed partners only. Just someone who entertains you, keeps you company on those lonely nights at the bar, and even better company during those lonely nights in general.
The hit and run stands might come to a slow halt altogether – where they would have before just left their crappy little motel room without saying much or just an unspoken understanding, now, McCree moves to hold her post coitus. Now, Sombra likes to run her fingers along his lips and she lets him brush his knuckles against her cheek.
Now, saying goodbye is a lot harder. They get scared that this will finally be the last time they see one another. Aloof attitudes toward other potential partners also change. They easily start showing signs of irritation and jealousy when another person becomes involved whereas before, it wasn’t a big deal.
17 – Who says I love you first?
I’d like to imagine that McCree says this first because he’s certain he loves her. For Sombra, those sorts of feelings are very new and foreign to her, so it takes her a while to first, realize what those feelings for McCree she has actually are and two, to finally say them. However for McCree, it’s more natural. He knows how he feels, so he says it. He doesn’t say it before he knows in his heart that Sombra is someone he wants to protect – he’d do anything to keep that smile on her face. And he hopes that by saying those three words to her, he can convey everything he feels.
