20 – What do their family/friends think of their relationship?

For Sombra: What family? What friends? 😭 Sombra knows she comes from a pretty shaking place in life, what with being a loner (by choice). Sometimes it’s difficult to watch McCree deal with the negative reprecussions of being in a relationship with her (mostly via his former colleagues of Overwatch). She doesn’t blame him if he decides it’s too much – she’s conditioned herself to expect the worst and not let things get to her. But it always warms her heart when he tells her he’s not going anywhere.

As for McCree, he has no living family to speak of but the few members of Overwatch that he’s decided to tell because he trusts them, he often regrets it. He gets nothing but “advice” from people like Tracer, Winston, and Mercy, telling him to watch his back. He knows they’re looking out for his best interests, given Sombra’s history and all but he also wishes he could tell them to lay off – he’s a grown man and he’ll handle his life. 

25 – Who needs more assurance?

I think with Sombra’s precautions about being caught by the Eye collective and just generally being worried about how McCree might get caught up with something she really wants him to avoid, she probably needs more assurance. She worries about him, to the point where she reminds him that he can always back out if he feels it’s too much. So he has to reassure her that he’s in for the long run, or if she wants him to leave. Otherwise, he’s staying with her.

27 – Who would sing to their child back to sleep?

I don’t think either of them are the type to sing full-on lullabies, but they do hum. Sometimes in tune, sometimes out of tune, but they’re distant melodies they might’ve heard once upon a time. Sombra and McCree have both walked in on the other soothing their baby with gentle humming.
